His lectures put me to sleep. He writes everything on the whiteboard without pausing or even looking for student questions. DO THE HOMEWORK. The homework questions will range from easy to hard. However, his test questions are more on the easy side. Multi-part questions but you only need to answer some of them (say 7 out of 10) your choice.

I originally dreaded the fact that I was taking lab with Dr. Zych but my attitude changed immediately after having one lab period with him. He's super helpful and explains exactly what hes looking for. I got 90's and above on almost all of my labs. I plan to take PHY 213 lab with him as well.

Professor Zych is such a nice guy; he will help you with any homework you come with. Doesn't try to understand your questions though, he just does the work for you. He is super smart, he just has a difficult time reading people and relaying the information to them in a way that they understand it. Class average ~ 60, but he curves your grade a bit

BORING! ANNOYING! I came in with AP Physics credit and he still made me take that stupid lab class I had credit for he puts me to bed everyday I can't stand him!! Class ends at 3:55 and goes till like 4:10 so I just leave I can't sit through his god awful lectures! "UM UM UM UM" he says "UM" way too much and it is annoying.

Relatively easy class and there's no doubt that Prof. Zych is incredibly bright - he just tends to drone on and on and on. I do NOT recommend this class to those with a short attention span. In fact, it got to the point where only 18 of the 50 people in my class showed up (yes I counted), and of those who stayed, 5 walked out a 20 mins into class.

Not a very good professor. Says "um" a lot and is very monotonous making you lose focus frequently. Demonstrations are cool but don't reflect the test material very well. Can grade very harshly and class average always seemed to be below passing.

The professor is cute! Very interesting class.He is helpful. Homework everyweek but quite easy. A few quizes and 2 tests. There is a final but not hard if you study the notes and homework. Take the class with him, it's a kind of fun sometimes. Easy grader.

He says, "Umm" and "Uh" basically every ten seconds. Other than that, he's not a bad professor. One easy homework assignment each week out of the book, three tests, six quizzes, a mid-term, and a final. He'll occasionally do a cool demonstration too.

teacher says um ALOT. he doesn't take attendance. gives hw once a week and gives 3 exams including the final. hw has 7 questions from the textbook so you NEED the textbook. hw isn't hard, it's all in the textbook, and if you meet him right after class and tell him you don't understand a question he will basically do the whole thing for you

I enjoyed Dr. Zych's class. I like electrical engineering material to begin with anyways. His tests are challenging like the homeworks, but it makes you think. He will help you with your homework, if you are really stuck. He is also a great advisor.

well, this teacher was hard at times. There is no attendance policy, just show up to take tests/quizzes/get hw. the info gets tough towards the end of the semester, our class did awful on all the tests, and at the end of the sem. almost everyone i knew in the class got a B, i was expecting a D...at best. cant complain too much.

Gota love this guy. All you had to do was the homework problems (givin weekly), and show up for tests. He only took attendence the first week of class. Final was so easy! and like everyone else said he has a tendency to say "um"
