For a 1 credit class, it's too much work. Only one assignment a week but it's always a big assignment. One large midterm and final. Not a bad teacher/class, but it should be at least 3 credits.

I took his Astronomy 2 class for about two weeks and I just had to drop it. His lectures were way too fast, scattered all over the place, and extremely hard to follow. Made you feel dumb if you didn't understand something. Plus you literally had to purchase print outs of his power-point slides that didn't even match up to the lecture. Very lame.

It is a one unit class because it is a lab. It was cool to do the outdoor assignments, but it was definitely more work than any one unit class should be. He wasn't super helpful either. If you were confused, you really would have to practically beg him to help you.

I actually like Kenyon, he's an animated guy. My only problem with him is that he talks in lecture so much that there really isn't room for questions or comments.He's extremely helpful in 3rd hour though. Take him if you're into lecture without asking questions.

I learned more on my own at home than from his repetitive lectures. He continually rambles "And so on and so forth" between every sentence and insults students who ask questions. He destroyed my interest in a once very intriguing subject.

I took Professor Kenyon's online Astronomy lab class, and thoroughly enjoyed it. We students got to keep sky viewing logs and later took deep sky photos and adjusted them for contrast. If you pay attention to the syllabus you will know when Kenyon accepts and responds to emails. In my experience, Kenyon was a great teacher. Take him!

This is the only professor at Sierra College that I've ever had a problem with in three years. I took his online lab class last semester and still pulled an A but for such an easy class, he made it so difficult. If something as little as your subject line in your email was off, he would not give you credit for your homework. DO NOT TAKE!!

I'm pretty sure he'll have a heart attack in class one day, he gets so red and angry sometimes. He was extremely unorganized and he never ever responded or even looked at emails I sent him. He screwed over a few other students because he was lazy and/or lost papers. Do not recommend if having a decent relationship with your teacher is important.
