Ive read a multitude of reviews praising how great of a professor Trautman is. However, time has passed and hes lost some of his talent perhaps. Entire lesson comes from textbook, no notes, just textbook problems. Assumes you know a lot more than I did. Dont take at lower math levels, hes almost too smart to be teaching low level math.

A great teacher who explains things in ways that you would understand. Uses excellent real life examples, as well. I have had him for many classes and would highly recommend him to anyone. His tests are difficult, but also are just like the examples. so if you took notes, you will ace the exams. Great quote: "You lousy calculator!"

Come on your worthless calculator!! Great teacher, best math professor in the department I believe. He's got the Einstein look goin and is pretty amusing. Talk to him about marathon running he likes that too.

Pretty easy teacher, but that could be because he's good at what he does. Entertaining. He knows his math, and can teach it in a way that makes it easy to understand, even for us psci kids. Gives a quiz every other class, so it's easy to get an A or bring up a bad test grade.
