I absolutely love Dr. Woolbright. He is very knowledgeable about the topics he is teaching. Some people find his lectures confusing, but I always learn a lot from them. He expects his students to learn a lot on their own, and then he fills in the blanks. His tests are usually essay questions on topics related to the assignments and projects.

Took him for 3 different classes. Unorganized and didn't take roll. It seemed like, as long as you turn something at the end of the semester and take the final, you'll pass, and he doesn't grade the stuff you turn in. He is very helpful however, and I've seen people who hardly came to class come away with a passing grade.

He's a nice guy and will work with you if you have problems but he is impossible to follow in high level classes. He doesn't come off as well prepared, makes a lot of mistakes, and his attempts to simplify material may make it more complicated. He's even known for adding (or "verifying") multiple assignments in the last couple of weeks of school.

I've had him in CPSC1301 and CPSC5135. Overall, outstanding professor. His main concern is that students actually learn from the class and just don't memorize material for test. Lots of programming projects for this course and 3 written test.

Easy, but if not a computer science major..he can be difficult. I breezed through this class, but other struggled a lot because of the type of teaching. The programs are worth less than the test. I'll be taking him again for 1302.....overall good teacher.

Can be boring at times if you have no interest in computers, but very informative and breaks down the learning process to barney style (which is good for beginners). Highly recommend. He'll make sure you understand the basics. grading: 10% of a total 7 programs, 3 written exams....20%, 25%, 25%, and the final is 20%. He doesn't take attendence.

He doesn't care about the grade. he's very easy , he's not picky at all.. Tests are very easy, they're actully the review handouts themselves. If you take any class with him, You get an easy A. He never takes the roll but just once in the first class. I enjoyed his class, it was internesting and unstressfull..

Very scattered! Syllabus said one thing, graded another way. Made A's on all tests and turned in projects that weren't supposed to be graded, just used to show effort. Somehow, ended up with a C in the class. Not very organized. Would not recommend!

Dr. Woolbright is one of the nicest professors in the department. He seems to be above all the silly politics and crap, and just goes in and teaches and helps people. Teaches everything from mainframe to C++ to web development.

Gets lost very easily in details. Its hard to keep him on track. You often wonder why you are doing the assignments that you do. Assignments can be very tough. Class can lack focus.

Knows his subject matter, but has been known to get lost in esoteric details when delivering material on occasion. Still, very easy classes and very enjoyable teacher. After class discussions are worth hanging around for if you like to talk shop.
