Ms. Shelton is a good person, but our personalities definitely do not match up. She is so extra. A very perky morning person who treats us more like elementary children than college students. The interactive notebook is dumb.

She truly cares about the profession and wants to make sure you do well as a teacher. You complete one, 4-hour outside of class learning experience within the class. There are small assignments here and there, but they take less than 30 minutes each to complete. It's a great class, take it with her if you get the chance!

Dawn Shelton is so sweet. She will turn you into the best teacher you could possibly be! She grades lesson plans very strictly and does assign a lot of busy work in my opinion, but she really cares about her students and wants you to do well.

Do yourself a favor and take this class. She loves the profession and wants to help you succeed. She challenged me to become a better person and pre-service teacher. Do the work and challenge yourself to go above and beyond- it pays off. She gives helpful feedback! If you need help, always ask. She deeply cares and it shows. I will miss her!

Ms. Shelton is awesome! She's totally hilarious and makes class enjoyable. Definitely meet with her if you have any concerns, she's very personable and wants to see her students succeed! Class isn't really "hard" however, you do have a lot of work. I suggest making a checklist with due dates to make sure everything gets done!

Great professor and great class. Fairly easy if this is truly what you want to do. Just 4 videos, 4 hour class observation, couple of small assignments, and final of 10 questions and final essay. Highly recommend.

Ms. Shelton is awesome, I had her junior 1 with Dr. Rogerson and they were both GREAT. They work with you, make the class intriguing and ensure that you gain knowledge. I got an A's in 3200, 3300, and 3100. .

This teacher does not respond to emails. Has no voicemail. Takes forever to post grades. Offers no instruction. No lecture. Assigns reading and dues date - that's it. She has the worst organization skills ever. I definitely feel that she couldn't care less about her online class and must be out shopping or at the beach the whole time.

Well organized and provides clear instruction. Didn't have a textbook for this class but provided resources were excellent. Slow to grade and return emails, however, its a big class and is a summer course, as well. Reasonable expectations. Course requires work but is manageable and beneficial. Highly recommend this professor.

She is an awesome teacher! The person who said she was late, wouldn't return emails, etc., well her daughter was hospitalized this semester. Also, the hospital was an hr and a half away. Cut her some slack. She really is a great teacher, knows cool teaching tricks, and she has a really big hear!

I had this teacher one time prior to this class and she was wonderful. This time however, was dreadful. I was sick- hospitalized for two weeks and she wouldn't work with me and help catch me up. She doesn't answer emails. Is always late to class and hardly available outside of class. Will not be taking her again!

Ahh!!! Best teacher I've had in college everr!!! You won't meet a teacher whos as compassionate about teaching as Ms. Shelton!! She makes each and every one of her students feel comfortable in her class! She's one of the only teachers I've had thats actually made me feel like more then just another student!
