Comment:

I took this class online and was very impressed with Prof D's willingness to help and quick responses to emails. As long as you watch each section's video and take good notes, the homework and quizzes are pretty easy. The tests were only about 20 questions and reflected the homework/reviews well. I also never read the textbook once.

Comment:

Some of the homework was so hard that it stumped the school tutors. One tutor told me that one section of the book we were doing, was a section that most instructors skip because it is so difficult. Mrs. D made us do it. If you don't do well on the tests, you fail even if you do great on the homework and quizzes. Would not recommend her.

Mrs. D is very nice and is very willing to help if you ask her. She teaches kind of fast but if you pay attention and ask questions it is very easy to pass her class. There's homework assignments every week and about 2 quizzes before the test. Her test were sometimes difficult but just requires more studying. I would take her course again :)

Comment:

I recommend not taking a mini. One day of missed work and your life is literally sitting at a computer all day. The professor is excellent. She constantly reminded us of assignments that were due and replied to emails fast.

She was thorough in her explanations of the problems, I write slow and was able to take good notes. If you put in the time and show initiative you will pass, or get a better grade than you thought you would. Attendance and participation are important.

Shes awesome, emails back quickly and Ive never met her in person i took this course online this semester and passed with an A. I went into this class and was nervous and wanted to give up when i saw the first word problem but then i began to study and understand what i was ready then it came naturally.

Taking this class in the summer online course and 45% of the overall grade is two test exams. So it is almost impossible to pass the class if you get a low grade on those test. Your only hope to pass is the lowest exam grade will be replaced by the final exam only if the final exam is higher.

What i did for this course is wrote everything down she did during the lectures. with that it helped me with the homework and i wrote down all the homeworks. with what i wrote down for the homework it helped me with the quizzes. i wrote down all of the quizzes which helped me for the test and final. can redo all to a 100. do the work and get an A.

I had an A coming into the final which is 25 %, sadly the final was nothing like the previous test, so I ended up not making the grade I needed to keep my A. I suggest doing the project EXTRA EARLY or you will be very disappointed later on. If you're gonna take this statistics course please STUDY! teaches good but percentages of grades are tough.

I love her so much. She teaches very well and I understand what she teaches. There is a good amount of online homework and online quizzes. you can redo the homework and quizzes up to a 100. I keep a notebook for homework (i keep it organized) and one for notes. The tests resemble the quizzes so study those. Helps after class.

Absolutely dreadful. Mymathlab is required but nothing like what she "teaches" in class. Writes one example on the board and expects you to know it. Tests make no sense and hardly reflect what you did in class if at all. Annoying and rude. DO NOT TAKE, YOU'LL WASTE A DROP.

SHE DOESNT DO A GOOD JOB EXPLAINING HOW TO WORK OUT PROBLEMS. IF YOUR COMING FROM HIGHSCHOOL AND ARE USE TO BABY STEPS DO NOT TAKE HER. MATH LAB IS TERRIBLE. SHE GIVES REALLY HARD PROBLEMS. THE TEST ARE CONFUSING. NOTHING LIKE WHAT SHE TEACHES.

She must be writing these recent reviews herself because statistics is horrendous. Our class started with 15 people and ended with two, do not take her there are better options. The tests are in a completely different format then the way she teaches which confuses everybody. Not even learning lab tutors could understand her tests.

Ms.D is the BEST! She is so clear on explaining directions and breaking down each problem. I was so nervous entering Statistics but I left with a B. Communication with her is a 10 and as long as you do your part she will be there for you 100% I am going to miss her.

I am not sure why she doesn't have a green smiley face, she is a wonderful professor. Very sweet demeanor and is prompt if you need help. Highly recommend her for Stats!
