She is one of the best professors in the MANE Department. She truly has an interest in seeing her students learn the material. Her classes are set up so that the class works on example problems right after the lecture, with her actively helping students one-on-one so that they understand the material. I would advise talking anything she teaches.

I personally thought she did a great job with the class, the example problems (2 per class) really gave a chance to learn how to solve thermals problems while there were people on hand to help work through your problems. Class examples made the homework and exams seem pretty easy, and her use of the EES software makes things even easier.

Thermal/fluids is a hard course. (tip:do the HW) I had her for the second time I took it, and she was very clear in explaining the material. She pushes for the use of EES(software), which is good because it makes problems quicker to solve. Her tests are reasonable(straightforward), but the Final..that is always a tough mother...

She is terrible. The fact taht she wrote the text, makes you buy it, then just gives it through powerpoint slides is poor. She is monotone and boring not to mention her unbearable stench

the course sucks no matter who you have as a prof., but kaminski is probably the best. she wrote the text, she knows what she needs to teach. homework is probably the key for the course, not the teacher really. but she's the best for the class.
