Comment:

Idk why Phan has bad reviews. He was a decent guy that wants students to succeed. Homework was easy and he tells you exactly what are on the exams. Study the math problems and end of chapter quizzes for them. The group projects were easy. If you're smart you'll see you're only graded by few pts so it's important to do well on exams.

Very hard to understand, shows videos in class from 2000 (17 years ago). Homework and test have multiple errors. If approached be cautious, he is an older man from asia, and you had better be ready to treat him with RESPECT.

The material was good to know - Professor, not so great. He was hard to understand, used out dated examples, and can be very condescending. Numerous typos on exams (so even if you knew it, you might just get it wrong anyway). Exams were short. Basically teach yourself, pay attention to exam review day, and you're fine.

Awful class, going each time is dreaded! Does not talk about anything related to exams in class really & if he did, I couldn't tell you because he was so hard to follow, not only because of the language barrier, but also because of the way he goes off topic. I suggest going to class daily & using that time to read the book while you are there.

Don't buy book. He uses PowerPoint slides. Easy class, 3 exam, only need to take two. Average score will count towards 3rd exam. 30 questions each. Easy, but boring. Attendance is taken.

This class had a lot of potential, but he didn't make any sense most of the time. He will regurgitate the PowerPoints between his nonsensical ramblings (which end up taking most of the time). He never used the book outside of class. I took this in the summer, and I could tell he cut a lot out. If he stayed on topic, he could have covered more...

Worst professor I've ever had. Will ramble on about subjects unrelated to class for the majority of the time, then sum it up by quickly going over a powerpoint at the end. Uses powerpoint definitions on tests, if you use the book's, he says its wrong. Easy project, easy quizzes. Felt cheated that I paid for this class and took nothing out of it.

If you ask questions, he will make you feel like you are stupid and will not offer help. Always contradicts himself. Reads textbook's published slides and teaches nothing else. Only show up for quizzes and exams: nothing is accomplished by attending class. One of my worst professors.

Class runs for 50 minutes. He spends 40 minutes rambling, and the last 10 reading from the power point slides the book publisher made. Read the book at home, show up for exams, and do the 2 projects he requires (easy to do). In other words, dont bother showing up for class and just follow the syllabus.

This professor made it tough to participate during class. His lectures were unstructured and he had a tendancy to humiliate students in class. Tests are hard and be careful, he tends to think the book is wrong which makes it tough to study from. I can't say I would ever take his class again. Not a big fan...

Worst professor and classes in whole campus. Has no clue about what he says, his English is almost impossible to understand and tells people all the time to go and take the class "with someone else", knowing he's the only one teaching Project Management. This guy really needs to back to school and take some ESL, teaching and P.MGMT classes!

I thought test were difficult because he would have things on there from lecture but not in the book. He is a little hard to understand and follow in class. Assignments are easy, but not a big part of the grade. Not bad to take the class with, just really boring material that you'll never need to know, unless it is your major.

Assignments are easy just be in class the day that he goes over them and write down what you have to do while he goes through it. Tests are hard... I have not learned one thing from him, he talks about the same thing for 45 minutes and will get through one slide on his powerpoint and say okay thats the chapter!

He is ok. Puts too much weight on tests and not enough on required projects. You need to make a simple web page, do an access assignment, and do a brief report on a BCIS article, but those are only worth 25pts (out of about 300 in the class). Does grade on attendance. Tests are easy if you read the book. (or just do the quizzes on the cd)
