She is an awesome teacher that knows what she is talking about. Sometimes her classes can be a little disorganized, but she is willing to move things around to fit scheduling better. Her stories are funny and relate to the topic being covered. ONE OF MY FAVORITE TEACHERS!!

She is a wonderful teacher who loves to tell stories about her life. Of course her stories relate to the class. The class has three test which are easy if you study. She gives you powerpoints so you dont have to take notes. Family History Project is not that time consuming i did mine in two nights and recieved a 100.

She is an awesome lady and teacher. Her class is all lecture, just powerpoints but she posts them on BB. There are 3 tests and one family history project (that is time consuming). If you're not a good test taker, you might struggle. I enjoyed her class and she knows what shes talking about. Very helpful and a great teacher to have for CDFR.

RUDE AND ARROGANT. ALLOWS GA's TO HANDLE ALMOST THE ENTIRE COURSE. I REQUESTED A MOMENT TO SPEAK WITH HER ABOUT THE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK I GOT FROM A GA....BEFORE I GOT IT OUT OF MY MOUTH, THIS WOMAN BLURTS OUT, "YOU NEED TO TALK TO MY GA BECAUSE SHE IS FAMILIAR WITH THIS SITUATION AND I AM NOT." VERY CONDESCENDING

I've had Dr. Caroll for two classes now. She does take attendance but gives you a couple of days that you can miss without penalty. She's so sweet and funny and uses words like "idear". She's a lawyer and a therapist so she really knows what she's talking about. She is also a mom so she really relates well to her students.

Awesome teacher!! Test are straight from the notes and study guide she post on BlackBoard. Assignments very time consuming but you work within a group! Pretty easy class overall!! At the beginning of semester I thought it was going to be my hardest class, ended up being the easiest!!!

the class wasn't really that hard, but some of the material was pretty boring! tests were pretty straight forward from her notes.. and assignments weren't too bad, but there wasn't enough feedback!! if you have to take this class, i would recommend taking it with dr. carroll.. it can be boring at times, but she knows what she is talking about!!

I love Dr. Carroll! She is an awesome professor! She actually cares about her students well-being! Also, she gets very involved when we have class discussions and that makes the information even more interesting! Highly Recommended! Hardly ever used the book! Magnificent Professor! ECU needs more Dr. Carroll's

Betty Ann is great! I loved having her for several classes. Being as she is a lawyer, taking classes from her like Trends and Issues, is fun, b/c you get to debate. She has a great way of making you think about things from a different angle.
