fllt/woms 330...Ferguson is GREAT! whoever said he was a "pompous ass" is rude and incorrect..you gotta go to class, take notes, and do the readings, but the subject matter is VERY interesting so its not hard to pay attention. 3 essays, GO TO HIM he loves to help students. you learn a lot about sex, history, art, men and women...great class.

Ferguson is a pompous jerk. he is unhelpful to students who aren't majoring in gender studies. this class was impossible for anyone who isn't majoying in woman's studies or gender studies. do not take him. he is an extremely unfair grader.

nice guy, easy on the eyes but the class was pretty boring - 90% lecture. lets loudmouths talk too much in class when most students did not care to hear their opinions. the book was a waste of money and no one will buy it back! not too much work, he's reasonable and easy to approach.

This class isn't do bad. Not much work, just some reading before each class. 2 short midterm papers (3-5 pgs) and one long paper (5-8pgs). Sometimes really boring, but overall an easy class. Don't buy the $120 textbook. You are better off just photocopying it from the library.

Don't befooled by his soft spoken demeanor, in reality he is pompous and prejudicial. If that wasn't enough, I have learned more in two page gardening tutorials than I learned in his whole class.

AWFUL!! he speaks at a whisper level, and it doesn't help that he has an awful stutter as well. He is completely ineffective as a professor. Assigns a RIDICULOUS amount of reading, that is impossible to complete. Avoid this professor at all costs. Wait a semester if necessary!

Assigns a good amount of reading and class is. at times, pretty boring. The only right opinion is his opinion and he isn't really open-minded about other interpretations. He's not a very easy grader and he only has two tests and two papers for the whole semester.

He's a funny British guy with a good personality and a good sense of humor. He talks too quietly, though.
