Comment:

Jolly is one of the sweetest professors ever. Come to class because exams are lecture based, no powerpoints. The material is a bit tough but Jolly gives funny examples to help you remember things. She also curves exams quite generously. Also, no homework!

Comment:

One of my favorite profs at Chapman! Her lectures are super easy to pay attention to, as she provides many fun examples of the subject matter. Basically no HW besides case briefs once in a while (they take like 15 mins max). Tests are just memorizing lecture content. Very generous in curving the tests and making them fair. Definitely take her!

Absolutely great teacher. One of the best I have had at Chapman. Listen to her lectures and take good notes in class and you will be good. She is very caring and understanding and wants you to do well.

Comment:

The subject matter is a bit dry, but she makes it as interesting as possible with her personality, and we always get out early. Attendance is not required, but go to class and get the notes. Tests have exactly what is taught in class, lots of memoization. Overall, a good class.

Professor Jolly is the nicest professor that I have had. She cares a lot about the success of her students. Gives you all the key terms you will need to know for exams at the beginning of semester. As long as your take notes and study you will do great. One of my favorite classes.

Yvette is my favorite Professor I have had at Chapman. She honestly cares for you, wants you to do well, and is accessible outside class, even if it doesnt relate to the course. The class is very lecture heavy, honestly the tests are a lot of information, but she does a good job explaining the headnotes

Yvette is phenomenal!! She knows what she's talking about and by the end of her class you will too. She has the best teaching style, she tells you exactly what's going to be on the test all you have to do is go to class, listen, and prepare. She is super entertaining and wants you to understand/learn/do well!

Prof. Jolly is honestly the hard working professor at Chapman. I can speak for my 3 years here having attended...I haven't had another prof that makes the time for her students, bends over backwards to help the student and writes incredible letters of recommendation for graduate school and study abroad. Thank you!

Comment:

One of the nicest professors ever. She takes heavy material & explains it clearly in the most exciting way possible. The homework is all gone over in class & she offers office hours. Jolly is really understanding, so If you have a problem, talk to her for help. She doesn't use blackboard & your only grades are the 2 exams (& cumulative) final.

Yvette really makes law relatable and understandable. She takes situations that may be difficult understand and really breaks it down. She is very easy to talk and really cares about your success. As long as you attend class and take detailed notes on all the words she says you will to well.
