Really sweet guy! Tells a lot of stories to help you understand how it relates to real world problems. Thoroughly explains things. Will give the class an extra chance on a quiz if everyone does bad. Genuinely just wants everyone to understand the material! Very understanding guy, just talk to him!

As long as you study and pay attention in his lectures, you will get a good grade. He works hard to make sure you understand the material. If you have a hard time with math, he is definitely the professor to take. He tells a lot of stories to try to relate it to the work and has a sense of humor. I'd definitely take him again.

Professor Beroff was the best professor I have ever had! He goes all out for his students to make sure you get the grade you want! His exams are given to you on the packets he gives out every week, and he explains them thoroughly during class. Whether you want to go into mathstats or not, take this man! I would take him again in a heart beat!

Absolutely wonderful human being, and a wonderful professor. Taught clearly and slowly. I took a once a week class. He gives his own hw problems. Just re doing the in-class problems and hw problems is all I had to do to study for the exams.

I just had to come on here to rate Professor Howard Beroff. Ok if you plan on taking statistics this is the professor to take. he tries really hard for his students to pass the course and he makes his students meet after class for extra help. how many professors do you know go all out for their students. trust me you won't regret taking this man.

He's very good and has a lot to say about real life. He emphasize how stats applies to real life and lets you use cheat sheets on the tests. His labs were simple and easy too, one was even opinion-based. He's defiantly a good choice if your taking stats. His teaching skills are excellent, if something doesn't make sense he will clarify it!

Great professor! Very dedicated to his field and shows true interest in his students. Took him for Stats I, he makes things clear and to the point. The only true math you'll be using is basic algebra. Learned a lot about how the media will manipulate statistics to showcase only 1 viewpoint. Take him :)

I was really worried about taking a math class in the summer because my last teacher failed me at RV. Howard is awesome and does everything he can to help his students succeed. I went to extra help and it really did help me understand the information. His tests are all open note which was a plus as well. TAKE HIM, he's the best.

Extremely knowledgeable and dedicated teacher. Took as much time as needed to ensure that all his students were able to grasp every new concept. Repetition and real-life examples of how statistics is used underscored his common-sense approach to the subject. Prof. Beroff always gave all his students every chance to succeed.

Ok teacher. Beroff was very easy because you can use your notes on anything. Class was a waste of time for me since he didn't spend much time teaching. When he did teach, he constantly made mistakes. I found it a lot easier to just read the book.

He's simply a good guy. He has a dry, sarcastic sense of humor which is amusing. His classes are pretty boring (100% lecture) but he's thorough and makes sure you understand. He's genuinely interested in students. He's flexible and has a pleasant personality. He doesn't give tricky questions - everything is upfront - doesn't waste time with unimportant stuff. Explains Algebra in a way that everyone get's it. He's very patient. He does a review of material which helps when people struggling with math. Great teacher!
