She's a wonderful older lady with a real charm to make learning fun and interesting! Nutrition was an easy class and she really made learning enjoyably. Take half-way decent notes and study those for the exam and you'll be fine. She's a really nice lady and brings her keyboard in to sing songs that'll help you remember the material.

She's an amazing woman with a passion for both her students and chemistry. Keep the review sheets, they really help with studying for the test and help break down the material. I never really liked chemistry as a subject, but I loved her classes. Her songs about chemistry are the best!!

Dr. Howard is sweet, but a really unclear teacher. She just thinks differently than others which makes it very difficult to communicate with her. Her tests are not hard if you know the review sheet. The hardest part about her class is just continually asking her questions until you and she are both talking about the same subject....

Very nice and truly cares about students.she is however,very scatterbrained and unclear at times.she never stays on topic in lectures and we have no idea what we need to do.her exams are easy which accommodates but that doesnt do us any good when we have to take the mCat's to get into med school.would rather do a little more work and actualy learn

How could anyone rate her below a 5? She obviously knows what she is doing as she is the HEAD of the SCIENCE DEPARTMENT!! I had Nutrition and it was by-far the most entertaining and thought provoking class that I have had since I have been here in the past 3 years. She may be a little cooky but she is compassionate and whoever disagrees is just wrong.

She's a very nice lady and her class is very easy! You just have to do the work and the exams are not difficult at all. I learned things in this class that I still use to this day. Her songs were also hot. Everybody now... "Calcitonin puts the bone in!"
