This is an online class for a required credit for any business major. The class in of itself is structured easily and straight forward. There are four parts and four tests. The practice tests have a lot of hints if you actually study. Do the work and you will pass and move on through the Business school.

Comment:

He is the worse professor that you can find at st. cloud state. He doesn't know how to teach, is very rude, exams are very tough and ask him a question and he will end up giving you the most rude reply. Save your money and take this class from a professor who actually knows a thing or two about his course.

This class was taken to fulfill IS242 requirements for transfer students. Was only 1 credit, half a semester. There are two homework assignments (50 pts each) and two exams. (100 pts each). If you follow his directions, use the book, and read his powerpoints you will do just fine! Also, exams are proctored!!

Very few points in the class so every point matters. Teaches quickly but is willing to help if you have questions.

I had him for 242 and I was scared to need to take him for a major course. I took this class online though. The online HW is super easy and he wants to bare minimal, maybe 1-2 sentences per assign. 2 tests, but they're all true/false in the proctored exam room.

Took his online class. It is a lot self study with many examples and the material makes sense you actually study. His tests are tough but fair and he gives a lot of hints in his practice materials. It beats sitting in a class room for a stats class. Take the online course if you want the flexibility and are willing to learn the material.

You have to buy his custom made textbook which is around $200 for a one time semester use. Very hard to understand him because of his Korean Accent. He knows what he is teaching but its hard to understand what he is conveying when you can't fully understand what he is saying. I barely pass with a C, don't know what he is teaching most of the time.

Exams dont correlate with lectures. Half of the content will be in the posted practice tests on d2l, other half are problems youve never done anything similar to. Homework is done in class which is nice if you go

The worst in class teacher I have ever had. He lacks basic teaching skills and can't get his point across. Never does example problems and only reads definitions. Appears to not fully understand material himself. Get ready to teach yourself.

Horrible! He doesn't care about students. I went to his office hours, but he doesn't provide help much. You have to work hard by yourself. He is useless. So mean. His attitude to students is not good. Our classmates complain about him a lot. Be carefully to choose him. Anyway, work hard by yourself!

Took the online class which is a great option to have. You have 4 blocks of assignments with tests following each block. Do the homework and you should not have a problem with the tests. Take the class pass and move on.

Lectures are extremely long and dry. He doesn't do or assign problems related to the test and the practice tests he gives, so the questions often feel completely foreign. Tests are mostly multiple choice, and homework is pointless probability simulation. You still need to attend lecture because the textbook is often extremely useless and unhelpful.

Take online in the summer. Only four assignments and four tests. Hard subject but easy class. Much easier than taking it in class.

A little hard to understand, doesn't curve the final grade or test grades, seems a little out of it sometimes, but he's a nice guy at heart. Make sure you do practice tests. some of the exam questions come directly from the practice tests

Oh man, I think this was the hardest class at SCSU I've taken so far. I struggled to just get a C. He gets easier to understand as you attend his class and he is hilarious at times. Although, nothing is assigned to help you with the work so by test time you better make sure you have his sample tests down and master them.
