I took two of her online classes last quarter and liked her for the most part. This quarter, I took her BSTEC133 class and it was TERRIBLE. She takes a week to respond to emails, her layout on Canvas is confusing to say the least, there are multiple documents explaining the assignments, and she doesn't explain anything well at all. Frustrating af.

Worst teacher. I've taken several classes with this teacher and you're LUCKY if you get a reply to an email. Spring 2015 quarter she had a very small opening for visiting and you had to call during those visiting times to make an appointment- no drop ins accepted. Other classmates have also complained about her lack in responses.

I'm taking practical accounting online with her now and she's both my teacher & faculty advisor. She takes weeks to reply to emails. I'm not sure if I can do accounting anymore because I can't get any help.

Joanna was a nice and helpful teacher. She seemed patient and went out of her way to ensure everyone got the material. I've had three classes w her and passed all of them. Never had any problems at all. She's a fine teacher and a nice person.

Very confusing course handouts for online classes. Tends to use all caps and describe things in a convoluted way.The coursework she created for the Accounting Simulation classes are also have various, frustrating mistakes.

Joanne was not only my professor for that class, but she is also my faculty adviser. She's generally nice, but can be short and flustered easily. She is not very good at explaining things, and is quite confusing at times. Even her print-outs for program/class outlines are confusing. I wish she wasn't the only option for accounting students. : (

Professor Salas is a pretty good teacher who tries to conform to learning styles that students are used to. But she's very rude and snappy. She gave me a good grade (that I probably didn't deserve) but it was fair because the new accounting program is ridiculous. She's a trooper for getting through the new curriculum.

She obviously should not be a teacher,She is unapproachable, does not want to answer questions and acts like every one is stupid.She is monotone has no excitement for lectures.She must be unhappy at home.Even if she hates you as long as you do the work you will get a decent grade.I won't take another class from her.I suffered pure anxiety from her.

I have to say that business 101 should be a no brainer of a class...espically this class. She has said from the beginning that you don't really go in deep with regards to a specific subject...however this is where I got totally peeved off! wrong answers imputed and having to fight for your grade on the back end! grr!!!!! way to complicated!

She is a good teacher, for business 101, i got a 3.5, her test are not hard at all. you have to keep up with the power points and read the chapter. i had her for accounting also. she teaches better because that is her major. that class isn't hard either. my grade is between 3.3-3.5. like i said just keep up with the hw. being a fulltime student

Joanne was alright professor, i just had a hard time liking her. her tests were difficult and so was the group project she had a group do at the end. grading wasnt too bad, you shouldnt have to worry about passing the class, although 4.0 isnt likely either. i wouldnt take her again, but i wouldnt say avoid her at all costs. B- grade professor.

This teacher is passive-aggressive! She can be nice when she wants to be, but a total witch when she doesn't! She is abrupt, unapproachable, impatient and condescending. I dreaded going to this class because she made me feel so inadequate and stupid. These comments are shared by the vast majority of my classmates! Look out- she's mean!
