I freaking love Steve. He's a gem. He is a very good professor and even though he lectures the whole class he makes it interesting and enjoyable. Test cover a lot of information so you have to read the book. Willing to help you in and out of class. He has all the qualities of a great professor. Take his class.

Best profesor I've ever had, he's funny, knows what he's talking about and makes class enjoyable. He lectures on key points, the rest you have to read outside of class, but he gives you exactly whats going to be on tests in the study guide, if you get below a B in any of his classes, you're just straight up dumb.

Clear and organized. Study guide basically gives you the test questions, he also gives out the essay questions. If you study and give a mediocre amount of effort in class you will get an A.

Great guy, fun to talk to. Get to know him outside of lecture! Beware of Tuesday 2:40-4:00 lecture- may put you to sleep. Picky on essays but gives them to you ahead of time...

Would definitely recommend Stelzner. Tests every week on 2-3 chapters, and there's lots of reading, but he does give detailed study guides. Follow those and know the material and you should do pretty well on the tests. Lectures a lot but makes it interesting. Super nice guy, sarcastic and funny.

Steve is by far the best professor I have ever had. He is super nice and always willing to help with any questions you have. The only downside to his class is that he gives frequent tests, but he also makes very detailed study guides to help you prepare.

Mainly lectures, but very very interesting. Many assignments that require research and work with the book, but you learn a lot through that process. Gives you the study guide way before the test and teaches by the study guide bullet points. Exams reflect class work to a tee. Exams mainly on lecture info, and a little book info. Amazing class!!

Really great prof. Helpful. Instructions are always clear and he will always stop to explain something during lecture if need be. Has a sense of humor, which helps lectures. Lectures can get long, but necessary if you hope to pass the tests. Tests cover a lot of material, so crucial to begin studying early versus the night before.

Steve is hilarious. He makes information fun to learn and is very clear in class lectures. He has an exam every 2 weeks which is a pain but overall its an easy class to get an A in. Just study for the exams.

What a great guy! He answers any questions you have. He lectures a lot, but you learn a lot. You have to study for test, but you are able to receive points back right after you take the test! If you just listen in class, participate here and there, and are able to apply the material to real life situations, (for the test!), then take him!

Keeps lectures interesting. The PLA's are mostly opinion based and they're easy points. Tests are easy as long as you follow the study guide and you can also get a few bonus points after the test for correcting multiple choice mistakes.

Seemed like most people had profs who taught/expected too little or too much. Stelzner is a happy medium. You have tests every 2 weeks. There is a lot of reading, but the regular tests allow for you to not study as much material. Mostly lecture with some group work, movies, and activities mixed in. Gives you a chance to earn bonus points on tests
