Great Prof. Really understands econ, and is very helpful...you just have to ask for help and not assume he can read your mind. Is very caring towards students who show they care about their education. If you care about really learning econ, take Singell.

Comment:
Larry is a terrible professor. He typically spent most of the class rambling about his family or about how great economists are. He's arrogant and frequently talked down to the class. The few times I spoke with him he was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. His lectures were painfully boring and his lisp made him hard to understand.

I felt this professor was very uninterested in students. He made it clear he didn't expect us to learn more than needed to pass a multiple choice test. He didn't really teach us anything -- just had us memorize answers to questions. This class was a complete waste of my tuition.

We watched a movie clip at the beginning of every class as a way to help our brains keep track of the material. He's charismatic and funny, helpful, and very very smart.

This class makes hardly any sense the first time around, but I'm an ECON major so once I dove in and studied on my own time, I realized that Singell's a genious. We watched a movie clip at the beginning of every class as a way to help our brains keep trac

Larry made EC101 way more difficult than it should have been. You learn a lot in the class; however, he is a boring lecturer and his tests are fairly difficult. If you want a challenge, I would take the class.

He knows econ and teaches it decently. However, he is very conceited and spends A LOT of time talking about himself and his family. Decent class, fair exams. But prepared to get annoyed by him.

Never gave a numerical example of exam questions. Very unobjective grader...gives good grades to those he likes and bad ones to those he doesn't. Projects are stupid and unrelated to class. His stories were all right, but I'd stay away from this guy. This coming from someone whose hobby is econ.

Most boring class I have ever taken in school. First tells you about how you get your money worth with him, because he never let's you out early, and that's because he wants to tell you about how great of dad and husband he is. They think he is boring 2
