Comment:

Ziegler is very passionate about what he does, but he also should not be a professor. He will talk about absolutely nothing for a solid hour, and you will leave wondering whether he was talking to you or just ranting to himself. That being said, the material is interesting (coming from a Comp Sci major) and his tests are INCREDIBLY easy.

He tries really hard and clearly loves teaching. Just seems like he's lost it a little bit. Lectures are long and really boring and are really not necessary to do well in the class, you just need to make sure you do the labs. Quizzes are very easy.

Lynn is such a great guy, he is helpful, sweet and very passionate about what he teaches. He's the kind of professor you could chat with for hours about computers and whatnot. if you're really interested and driven to learn computer science, not a bad class or teacher. If you're somewhat interested and want to know what its about, you're going to hate the class. Boring long lectures and not an easy class by any means.

This was one of the most frustrating courses I ever took. I worked so hard in this course, asked for extra help, and I still struggled. His style of teaching assumed that everyone had some basic intro in comp sci...most students were non majors.
