This woman is a god. She is great at getting students involved in class and she's demanding. Very challenging homework and exams with tough grading. (More quant material than expected.) You MUST do the reading to do the homework/exams. Do the reading, GO TO CLASS, & make fun of the IA/SIS students who think they understand development.

Very nice person, but class was unbelievably boring to the point of dozing off. Homework was easy and she's very generous with offering extra credit. Some exams were difficult but she usually offers extra credit to help you retain lost points.

Read the textbook and other readings assigned and you'll do fine on the tests. She gives plenty of extra credit chances and usually ends up curving grades in the end. Only 3 tests, no midterm or final. A few homework assignments and a final project that's easy to make up. Not easy material but an overall easy class.

She's very helpful, wants students to excel, takes points off on homework and tests if you dont EXPLAIN graphs in DETAIL. Shes a good teacher over all however, you could teach yourself from just reading the textbook. study the blackboard excesses she gets some exam questions from them

She is very clear, friendly and helpful. Not a very hard grader. Be forewarned though, she is pretty socialist and a total feminist (which is a good thing, tyvm)

Very nice lady and extremely knowledgeable about development. All the work was graded pretty easily as long as you made a decent attempt and appeared to know something of what you were talking about. Had a cool option for a final where you could do a country case study, go to a conference, or do volunteer work. Pretty good overview of development.

A horrible professor, everything that I"learned" in that class I could have learned from the book she made us read. her notes were word for word verbatim from the Colander book.

Her classes are pretty boring, they're all powerpoint. She knows her stuff, but doesn't know how to explain them well. Plus, she sometimes skirts around the questions students ask her. Relies too much on her TA. She's nice, though. Easy to score, but go to the tutorials and SI sessions.

difficult and arbitrary grading. lecture is unclear so make sure you do the reading. she obviously knows a lot about economics, but she explains herself poorly. and her entire lecure is powerpoint, which will definitely put you to sleep.

This professor is ridiculous. Her lectures are boring and unclear and she let her TA, who never comes to class and doesn't speak English well, grade two of our major papers as well as our midterm and final. She is not very helpful. As much as I found Macroeconomics interesting, I hated this class.

She uses the classroom as a podium and if you disagree with her point of view, your grades will suffer. The only thing I learned in her class was not to take another course taught by Floro.
