Comment:

Super easy and laid back class. Took criminal justice with him and it was in a huge lecture hall; you rarely have to show up to get an A. As long as you do the very few assignments and show up for tests, you'll be fine. Makes lectures interesting and has guest speakers come talk often. Take this class!!!!!!!!

Lectures are pointless to attend, you just need to go to your discussion portion, so your grade really relies on whoever your TA is. He provides a free online text book but you never need it. The midterm and final are super easy, you (the students) choose the questions on a discussion board, all you gotta do is memorize the answers, and attend SI.

Do not buy the textbook for POLS 250! Professor Thomas doesn't assign any reading from it what so ever. Class attendance is not mandatory at all and we make and submit our own questions for the exams. Only things in the grade book were 2 small writing assignments and 3 exams. Receiving an A is extremely easy.

This class includes a policy project talked about in discussion. The whole semester leads up to a Town Hall Meeting, that is fun. Only two test the midterm and finale which are easy and there is a review session for both. fun and easy class.

Prof Thomas is a really nice guy and gives pretty interesting lectures. Town Hall is main thing and will give you the most points. You don't have to show up to lecture to be successful. Only 2 exams, a midterm and final, and the TA's really help students by giving study guides and having study sessions. Overall good class and good experience.

This class has been the easiest class I have ever taken. Only two tests, midterm and final. I rarely showed up to lecture and I still have a B. Only thing that sucked was doing the THM assignments but honestly, they're not that hard. Do all the work and go to THM and you will pass.

THIS CLASS WAS EASY! There is a final and a midterm, which he lets the student pick the questions that go on it. Plus he has a review session and GIVES YOU THE EXACT QUESTIONS and ANSWERS, so you don't really need to take notes. The Town Hall (TH) portion did suck, but he made it manageable by assigning bits a t a time. Do TH and you'll pass.

Good Professor. The exams aren't too difficult and are just glorified vocab tests. There will be a couple questions from the actual chapter but spend your studying energy on the vocab terms on the side of the textbook. I didn't show up to the lecture portion more than half the time and got a B. Easy class with clear lectures.

Very good lecturer, made dull material somewhat interesting. Had to write 3 papers and attend a mandatory Town Hall Meeting which was the worst part of the class. Tests were also fairly difficult but manageable with studying. Attendance not graded but I would highly recommend. Text book helped a lot for filling out study guides. Learned a lot!

Dr Thomas makes lectures very fun! He is super funny and there are only about 3 exams. There is a Town Hall Meeting that is mandatory for this class. I would definitely recommend you take his class!

He is such an amazing teacher! His Lectures are great! He assigns 5 short response as homework, a research paper, and has 2 test plus the final. Go to lecture and you will get a good grade in the class. His tests are very easy just review the notes.

I didn't like math until I took Stats with Mr. Thomas! Half of the class is online, but whenever I'm confused about anything, I go to class and get it figured out. He's a great professor who makes math pretty simple.

Professor Thomas is the BEST. He is supper helpful and he makes thing fairy clear. He connects concepts to his past experiences. He is truly a great professor. Would definitely take this class again no second thoughts.

This Teacher was Amazing. I toke intro to CJ and after that I chaned my major.Class is intresting 3exams,1 paper lets you rewrite if you didnt recieve an A.& really helps you out if you go to his office hours.

He is AMAZING! Always very helpful to his students and makes class fun and interesting! if your thinking about getting into the CJ major take him for intro! I had him for senior capstone and after his class i knew i had picked the right major and was really happy with it!!
