Mrs. Hillen was one of my favorite teachers at this campus. She was extremely kind and motivated in teaching. I asked many times for help and she always gave me advice. Mrs. Hillen really has a passion for teaching. Her class was challenging in that she graded papers harshly but she really gave good tips on your paper If you asked.

She is probably one of the best teachers I've ever had. Her class was interesting for the most part. Attendance is mandatory. If she likes you and sees that your trying she will help you out with your ending grade. She is a tough grader when it comes to writing papers.

I registered late so I ended up missing 2 weeks because the 2nd week I came,no one was in the classroom.I EMAILED her, asking her what to make up and she DIDNOT reply.The min i got into class she gave me an attitude, n told me i was better off dropping the class because she wasnt going to help me or tell me what i had to make up

She is cool as a person... but as a teachr not so much. She is very unclear on what she wants but then expects people to just know what to do. Tells us to do whatever we want on papers and then gives a bad grade. Never gives time in class to work on group projects and just expects people to get them done. Kind of all over the place.

She didn't even really teach the class just acted as more of a facilitator. I didn't really learn anything and for a 100 level class she assigned work like it was a 400 level class. She also assigned a lot of papers and graded them like it was an English class. Easy class, but a complete waste of time.
