Prabakar made me want to quit school altogether, she was rude and treated the class like we were all dumb. She wasn't clear on the homework and never taught the class so half of us dropped it.

This teacher is so hard to understand (major accent)! She doesn't care if you learn, she only cares about her paycheck. she is the least helpful teacher i've ever had. we're glad your a math genuis lady but don't hate the rest of the world because we aren't. This is the only class i've ever dropped! she has a VERY high drop rate!

Comment:

She gives outrageous amounts of homework, which is mostly unnecessary. Most of her test and homework problems let HER be the judge if the answers are right or wrong. I could go on, but physics should not be near as difficult as she makes it. If you value you grades and time spent not hovering over a textbook, do not take her class.

She goes out of her way to make sure that students know that she thinks that they're stupid. She never really give any straight answers. I have never had a worse professor! She does not know how to explain the majority of the work in a way anyone can understand. If you want a good expereance in the math classes don't take her class.

Comment:

She is very good at physics and is passionate about the subject -- and she wants her students to be, too. Her main goal is not for the class to memorize how to manipulate formulas, but be able to really think through concepts for themselves. This class is great for people majoring in a science; but be ready to work really hard.

Very hard to understand her accent.Problems on test are NOT like HW or review problems she assigns.Will show several people how to do the SAME problem,and gets DIFFERENT answers!Very confusing!Not allowed to use equations in book, MUST use her equations.

I would not recommend her for anything. She goes out of her way to thin out the class. Dr. Sun does his best to get you through the class as opposed to Rathna trying to get rid of you.
