Comment:

Not a difficult class at all, but a shady guy. Might ask you out to lunch which is creepy. Take him for the units but keep your distance. As a teacher his class is designed for you to succeed but as a person hes shady seemed fake to us.

Must attend class and pay attention to his lectures and you will do fine on the test. Gives out a pretest before every test and will go over the pretest with you. Study the pretest and you will do great on the test. He talks really fast so don't get sidetrack during the lectures or you will be lost.

Lectures are him teaching steps on the board. Homework is not mandatory but you should do it for the test. Practice tests are a great help for the real tests. Class felt rushed it was a test every week. I felt like we just learnt a bunch of steps everyday rushed just to get to the test. He never took the time to explain the concepts. Didn't learn.

Mathematics was not made for me, But Dr. Stanton, helps me to learn, understand, and love mathematics naturally, his way of teaching is totally different, I feel that the subject was easy because he taught me from a to z. If you attend his classes daily, you will not only pass his class, but you will also learn and love math...

Don't take this class if you actually want to learn something you will be disappointed. He makes math boring by making it about learning boring steps instead of learning the actual math concepts. He seems to be nice but it looks like he's just acting nice its not genuine. Take a different Professor for those who really major in Math.

Looking back at it I would of taken a different instructor. He would do problems on the board by showing you steps but you wouldn't learn anything. I forgot almost everything I learned in that class. I never actually understood the concepts just the steps. It's the perfect class if you just want a high grade but don't take him if you wanna learn.

Was a ok class I felt like it was boring everyday in class we would learn math steps then we would take a practice test which would be similiarity to the real test I think he tried to be nice but their was something odd about him. I would not taken him if I knew the class structure. I just memorized a bunch of stuff without actually learning.

I really enjoyed the class. Stanton is caring and breaks down topics so that I was actually able to understand what I was doing, also love how he doesnt call out and or embarrass students! Understands that students have math anxiety and works with students instead of against them. Would gladly take his class again

I think he's a nice guy, class was easy guranteed A. But if you actually want to learn it's a bad idea if you like just learning steps than it's just for you. Wouldn't recommend this class for people looking to learn things and improve their Math skills. He will ask students out to lunch which is kind of creepy I didn't like that.

His teaching style wasn't for me. He would make jokes that weren't even kinda funny. You come to class and sit down and just learn the same repetitive steps over and over again. You don't actually learn it's just steps and steps. It wasn't a difficult class whatsoever. Take this class if you to pass the class with ease. Don't take it for learning.

I wouldn't recommend this guy. I never learned anything by heart. It was all memorization. He has practice tests before the actual test which is great, it really prepares you for the real test. You don't have to do the homework which is great if you can manage, because it will help you on the tests. In class all you do is learn steps. Just memory.

Stanton is a genius. He literally uses a math book that he wrote himself. He knows math inside and out. Unlike other teachers he knows how to teach. And he makes math easy.

This class was super easy. I didnt even try and missed out on so many class sessions and I passed! Stanton is very understanding and cares a lot for his students. He made the math extremely easy to understand. He is also very funny and relatable too! Everyone should take his class! He made everyone feel so at ease! The math was a piece of cake!!

Easy class, but all you do is learn repetitive steps. You don't have to do the homework, the practice exams are nearly the same thing as the tests. He's caring and nice, but a little too nice like he's hiding something. Not to mention I heard he hits on student's. Didn't learn anything. Take it if you want the easy A.

I was never a fan of math, but Dr. Stanton made it easy and I actually like the subject now. I took both classes back to back and passed on my first try. He even wrote me an amazing recommendation letter. I'd highly recommend to take his class/classes.
