If Professor Allan likes you, you're golden. Show up, participate and be engaged and he'll bend over backwards to help you. You can retake the quizzes as many times as you want, and sometimes he even does the lab work for you. Very helpful if you ask questions during exams. A truly caring person, still gives me a hug when he sees me around.

Professor Allan is not only an amazing professor, he is also an amazing person. He really cares about you doing well and I could talk to him for hours and he would listen. He is passionate and engaged-- his lectures are boring but he gives you all of the materials to do well. Would highly recommend.

A painful class to take at 8am. Very boring. The free response are fine but the multiple choice come out of thin air. Not helpful out of class at all. Don't take a class with him.

Very enthusiastic. Has powerpoint handouts that are very helpful. Test questions are sometimes unclear and you can't argue for more points (like someone else said, he is stubborn). I never opened my book- a waste of my money- don't buy it.

Funny, quirky, straight forward. You know what material will be on his exams, and if you go to class, you don't need to spend much time outside of class. He doesn't really assign homework, but weekly quizes keep you on your toes. Quantitative Methods text book was a waste of $120. Didn't open it once.

The class was a breeze...just read the text and do the practice problems in the packet. But why he insists on scheduling it for 8am, I'll never know! He is very enthusiastic, and tried his best to make stats fun at 8am...not a very easy task. He is a fun, goofy man...I plan on taking his learning class (which thankfully meets at 10am).
