Dr. Herdia is a nice guy. He will work with you if you show interest and show initiative. His lectures are long and boring. You have to read and know the material. You have to be ready to read and study. Ask questions and read.

I don't understand why students complain about this professor? He's really good at what he does. This is a senior-level class so naturally, it is going to be difficult. Overall, this professor is awesome and understanding and I intend to take another class with him.

I have so much respect for Dr. Heredia! His classes are not an easy A, so expect to read alot from the book, it is needed! Dr. Heredia has an accent, but don't be afraid to ask him to repeat anything, he will do it without hesitation! His classes are paper heavy, so be prepared to write. Hilarious professor who makes his lectures fun.

If you can avoid taking him, do so. I learned more from the textbook than I did from his lectures. If you must take him for Learning & Memory, READ! Memorize the book. His lectures are introductory, and he rarely gives alternate examples. I'm not sure he completely understands the concepts himself... Not to mention, his grading is unclear...

His class won't be hard if you study and read. I took learning and memory with him and for me this class was very interesting, it may be confusing if yo do not attend to class or if you do not read, but as long as keep up with the material you'll be okay! Also he is very nice and approachable, he is always willing to help students.

Overall, his exams are pretty tough, but he drops the lowest. He gives quizzes which you can use your notes. Quizzes and exams are online. As well, he counts attendance has part of your grade, so if you don't go at all, your grade can be affected a lot.

Took cognitive psychology with Dr. Heredia such a nice man, but he is very confusing with his instructions. He frequently changes his mind about due dates and isn't crystal clear about instructions. He gives quizzes online for every chapter and his tests are challenging. Our final grade consisted of a 10 page essay which he later changed to 7 pages

Dr. Heredia is in his own zone, and gets confused by himself. Do not expect to learn statistics from him, and start looking to YouTube for videos and support. He goes off topic every other sentence, and unfortunately he is the only teacher.. There is no choice, and he needs to be retired. He is extremely smart, but he is a horrible teacher.

OMG! what a boring teacher...he gets confused by himself and i feel that he's class goes on for hours. He's tests are somewhat easy all you have to do is studying.Attending his class is other issue and he notices it too.he drops hints for those his class as a reward. I don't recommend his class GREAT person but not a good teacher.

First of all, no need to buy all books for the class... I didn't buy the "study guide" book, and did just fine. If you plan on saving money, there is ABSOLUTELY no need to buy the other book called "How to lie with statistics." As far as the class goes, I thought it was quite easy. We had open book tests, Not too much H.W., Easy Final, Extra Pts

i've taken four classes with him. he is my favorite professor by far. he is so nice, and so passionate about what he teaches. i admit, it's not an "easy" A. but all u have to do is pay attention in class and study. i mean, it IS college. i got As in all his classes. he likes to show a lot of examples so his lectures are interesting.
