Terrible. You will learn nothing. You will receive more useless handouts than you know what to do with. I recommend making ninja stars or paper fingers out of the paper she gives you, as you will derive more value from that then whatever is printed on it.

Very easy class, there are about 5 papers throughout the whole semester and she writes feedback on all of them. The final is all of the pages combined. She gives you a couple days in class before each paper is due to ask her questions and she pretty much tells you exactly what you need to fix! Great professor!

She's a sweetheart and will try to help you succeed, but her criteria and feedback can be a bit vague and hard to follow. She is willing to look over drafts before the final due date, so you can make changes, but it is still very difficult to get A's on assignments.

Lots of big papers and busy work in class; she is a very weird woman. Nice enough but will drive you insane with how off the wall she is. She is willing to look at drafts multiple times before final turn in date but feedback isn't really the best. Has a very strict attendance policy but spends most of class time letting you work on the assignments.

Be prepared to write long papers and come to class. She makes her class hard but gives incredibly helpful feedback on papers if you show them to her early. An A isnt impossible if you put in work.

She is always in her office for if you need help. She looked at one of my papers 10 times as a rough draft. Attendance & in class work is a major grade booster. She really cares about her students & I would definitely take her again for a class.

She is very scatterbrained but she is sweet and really wants to help her students. the class is tough, no question there but if you put in the work you can make an A . She will sit and help you for as long as it takes and has no issue meeting outside of class to help students. Shes hard but i really have enjoyed her.

Ms. Horowitz is an extremely nice and helpful person. However, if you expect to learn anything in her class youre in for a bit of a surprise. She overcomplicates everything that she assigns. Class time was rarely used to teach a lesson. Instead, we just worked on a single paper the entire year, every class period. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!

if you really want to get an a in this class but don't plan on working your butt off, don't take it. the whole class consists of 6 research papers. you don't do anything else. many revisions may be made, but still grades tough. hard to understand instructions on assignments. uses 7 point grading scale instead of 10.

yes she's very scatterbrained and yes it's hard to get an A in the class. but do the work, revise it, and you'll get as close as possible. was always very helpful and ALWAYS in her office in case any help was needed. a lot of work but definitely not the worst teacher out there, really enjoyed her.
