Prof Cameron is super nice and passionate about what he's teaching which makes for a great class. He's known for being a tough grader, but he gives out a very clear set of criteria and is really eager to help you during his office hours. Overall, his class wasn't easy but I really enjoyed taking it!

Super nice guy & really cares about his students, but ugh his class. You don't really do much during the semester, just reading/reading responses. But you have a 7-8 midterm essay and a 9-10 final essay (worth 45%!). He grades them so hard. Also the readings are so dense that it's so difficult to interpret them. Better to find an easier teacher.

Amazing guy who really cares about his students. The class isn't easy and he is a tough grader but is willing to sit down with you for long periods of time to make sure everyone is clear on assignments. Lectures are very interesting but be prepared for a lot of reading. You will learn a lot in this class

One of the most engaging professors I've taken. He is so passionate and uses his own personal experiences to illustrate philosophical concepts. Hw is mostly easy, though he is a tough grader. Very difficult to pull out an A, I barely pulled off an A-. I never go to office hours, but I did for the final paper and he helped me a lot.

Cameron is a wonderfully passionate, illustrative, and humorous philosopher. His day-to-day examples are his specialty, although their frequency does at times obscure his larger focus.

Amazing professor. I took Environmental Ethics with him over the summer. There was a lot of reading, but his class is extremely interesting. Two papers based off of readings, no exams. Discussion based. Strongly recommend Prof Cameron

Extremely clear in his lectures, it is impossible to sit in his class and not absorb what a philosopher is saying. He does repeat himself, but only for the benefit of the class. Tough grader, but really genuine guy whose is totally willing to help if you visit his office hours.

Attendance is mandatory. Good teacher overall but the test are from his lectures in class mostly not from the books. He likes students that think out of the box. I would recommend him if you are willing to work. Not an easy A, but he's an interesting teacher.

Basically a good professor (cares about you, knows his stuff, good at getting the material into your head) - but repeats the same material too much, then rushes through the last few minutes of class (big annoyance for me). Difficult, but helpful.

Hard but good. He's definitely a good teacher and he tries really hard to go over difficult concepts. Don't take this class if you want an A but he'll work with you to learn something. Only uses primary sources so it can be difficult to read them without getting an introduction to what your reading

Prof. Cameron was a very interesting lecturer. He goes on tangents pretty often but still good. Very tough grader but is really helpful. Not the worst teacher to get but if you're looking for an A, you'll have to work

He is an amazing teacher and is really animated and so kind hearted. He was great! The material in his class was challenging but he really trys hard to make his students understand and he even gives you his house number just in case you have some emergency questions.

Cameron is extremely dedicated to making sure his students understand the concepts he's covering. This sometimes means that the course moves a little slowly, but it's for the sake of every student having a good grasp of what's going on. Makes complex ideas accessible.

The readings are long and kind of confusing. It may seem overwhelming in class, but if you go to his office hours before a paper, he will talk for an eternity and let you know what should go into it and you will get an A.

Cameron is such a kind person and super helpful. Can't lie--his classes are not always interesting. But he explains things so thoroughly that it's not necessary to read the texts all that closely. He can be picky about grading sometimes, but he's always really nice.

He is actually a pretty nice, intersting guy, but i would never take another class with him. He does not give you enough time to do papers (he just assigned a 7-9 page paper and is giving us less than 2 weeks to do it). He is a harsh grader and he spends the entire class on examples of a simple topic instead of explaining something else.
