Dr. Nash is one of the best religion teachers at Mercer. His class is straight forward and there is a "surprise" quiz every week over the reading from the previous night. His tests aren't bad at all if you study and his study sessions he holds are the BEST. He gives you exactly what you need to know.

I had Dr. Nash for Intro to the New Testament. He gives you a syllabus at the beginning of the semester and sticks to it all year. There is lots of reading required, but you don't necessarily have to do all of it to get a good grade. I did most of the readings or at least skimmed, but I know plenty of people who didn't do any and did well.

Dr. Nash was a decent professor. I learned a lot about religion & the Middle East, but his expectations are a little high. A 93 is an A, & you HAVE to complete all but 4 peer review/discussion assignments to receive credit. He can be a tough grader, & expects you to be knowledgeable. Be prepared to do lots of reading & you must lead one class.

At the start he showed what was planned out for the entire semester. Always do the reading, because there can potentially be a pop quiz on it for whenever it's due. He tells you exactly what to expect on his tests, so make sure you pay attention in class, take notes, do the readings, and go to the study session.

Great professor. A lot of reading, but gives a lot of quizzes and drops the low grades. If you pay attention, it's an easy A and class is actually interesting. He is a cool guy.

Highly recommend him. Gives study guides and session before each test, including final. Gives 2 or more weeks in-between 1.5 pg essays. Never gives quizzes on Mondays. Just do assigned reading and you'll make an A. offers alot of extra credit

Excellent professor. Has written books pertinent to what is taught by the New Testament. Holds review sessions before every test and the final exam. 75 percent of the class is reading. 25 percent is writing and coming to class sessions. Understand this and you will do well.

Dr. Nash is a brilliant professor and really cares about his students. He holds review sessions before each test. If you pay attention in class, do the study guide, and attend the review session then you are pretty much guaranteed to make A's on his tests. He makes the class interesting. I will definitely take him if I take my next CHR class!

Dr. Nash is a nothing short of a scholar when it comes to teaching Old Testament. His class is very interesting because he accepts and is willing to answer the questions of his students about anything related to the material. If you have a concern, he will discuss it in class. He even holds study sessions prior to tests. Read and go to class.
