Understands material really well. A little bit dated but useful for enterprise level software development. Don't buy textbook - lecture slides cover everything. Lectures were a bit boring. Assignments mostly easy - tests/exam very difficult. I emailed and found her responses very helpful in understanding certain topics.

She is very unorganized. She goes all over the place when presenting a topic. She is also very quiet and sometimes get even more quiet. She just reads slides during the lectures. If you are the type of person who needs explanation from prof to understand I would skip her. She uses too many short forms which makes the lectures and reviews confusing.

Very very difficult course. The prof is very strict in making while course materials suck. The final exam is cumulative which makes is difficult to focus and perform well.

Whoever taking courses with Lamana, I reccomand you to change the Uni. because this Univ. is too small for selection of profs, and you cannot avoid her......and this prof is the worst prof ever exist and won an award been the best prof of the year.

Smart lady, really knows databases. Not a bad teacher, either. But she can be very intimidating and a little scary if you have to go to her office and ask her questions; she gets frustrated easily.
