I took his class online for physics 101 for get the writing intensive course requirement. It was great, many attempt on quizzes, short essay on current energy (about 3 of them) and a final paper. It was tendious, but he is very cool about this work. Please take him, if you can!

Worst teacher I've ever had. Only reason I got a B in this class was because he curved the tests and gave a lot of homework. If you aren't good at physics, I suggest you avoid him at all costs. He doesn't know how to make things interesting or teach at all..

Had Dr. S for PHYS 101 online class, lets just say that Dr. S's course was anything but easy. In 3 three weeks, 15 quiz's, 15 homeworks, including a 1 to 2 page article review, a final paper of 10 to 15 pages, and a final exam that took 3 to 4 hours to complete. If you manage your time efficiently, stay pace with the course, you will be fine!

Stan is an easy teacher...predictable with tests which is nice. He is not orgaized, which is frustrating, and talks to himself all the time- which is funny to listen to. He is a good teacher, and a nice guy though!!!

He's quite odd...drank nitrogen once in class...but, he's pretty much a cool guy! The tests are easy, but he gave me my first B ever...and I had like, an 89%...I emailed him about it, he never returned it:(

nice guy, but NEVER EVER returns ANY emails, the quizzes online always mess up but he never fixes them. The quizzes can be difficult, and there are soooo many of them. he's a nice guy though!

His lectures are boring and unorganized, but a lot of his test questions come straight from questions he asks in the lecture. Also test questions come from the million and a half WebCT quizzes. Physics just isn't a fun class.

absolutely hated this class! he has no clue what he's talking about, not very organized/prepared... only problem is he's only one available for sci 101... try not to take him for lab and lecture... that would be terrible
