Great teacher! The lectures are so filled it's hard to retain and understand all the info. PRINT OUT THE SLIDES. He moves through them VERY fast. Reading the book is really helpful. He's very good at one on one help, anytime. Grades every detail, so if you can't remember something put what you can, you'll still get points! Would recommend!

Very fair. Participation is not graded, but if you miss one lecture, you miss A LOT of information. Very thorough. Easy to approach. Great CHM teacher. Organized. You HAVE to do the work to make sure you understand the material. Assigns hw through sapling which is time consuming.. Learned something from every lecture! favorite CHM professor

He is very good at explaining. He gets to the heart of what u need to know and understanding it. Doesn't expect u to just memorize wants u to learn how and why Chem works. He's funny and gets what teaching should be. I'd recommend his classes to anyone.

Mr. Squier's lectures were very clear. He was very good at showing us how to work through problems. He was very kind, patient and helpful when answering questions. Because of him, I declared chemistry as my major & am now teaching chem at the HS level.

Prof. Squier is an awesome teacher. Tests are tricky but his notes and lectures are fantastic. He is logical and progresses through topics in an orderly way, often explaining the 'why nots' as well as the 'why'. I am in IT and just needed a SCI, but he had me thinking about being a chem major. If you can think in 3D this class is awesome.

Great teacher although he is no longer teaching Chm100. If you're lost, TALK TO HIM, he makes himself very available for extra help and questions. If you don't pursue him when you are lost, it's your own fault. Would recommend him 100%!!!

Chem is always going to be a boring class. But his is really boring all he does is talk off power points ,which gets lame after a while basically its teaching your self in this class he hasnt really helped me learn more clearly. The plus in this class is he curves tests, and helps very well with the labs. He is a very nice man just a boring class.

Not an easy class by far, he is very thorough and covers stuff almost to well. Very prepared teacher though, and has great powerpoint shows. I reccomend his classes to anyone looking for a chemistry class. His tests are more skill and problem based, but that does not make them easy. Come prepared to study in depth, and cram like crazy before tests.

He got promoted to the Dean of Liberal Arts RVC made his vacate the position mid-term. Coincidentally, I think he had lost his touch with his way of teaching. I taught myself everything from class even though I attended daily. 75% of your grade is based on tests, so if you struggle with pressure of testing, it's very hard to control your grade.
