Comment:
He's a nice guy, but his lectures are torturous. They're so tedious that most people just end up ignoring him. He's really generous with grading though. If you do the in-class extra credit and the online homework, then you can get up to a 15 point curve on exams. I think it really helps level out the difficulty of the class. He's a 5.7/10 for me.

He's a nice enough guy and is clearly passionate about what he teaches, but god almighty is he boring. His lectures can be so dry and tedious that most people end up just not listening. He's very fair with the grading though. Between the in-class extra credit and the online homework, you can get up to a 15 point curve on exams. Pick your poison.

Great professor! A little lecture heavy, but he does care about you and wants you to do well. You NEED to study for his tests. In ECON 111 he gives generous test curves if your homework is up to date. I'm taking ECON 415 with him now and plan to take at least one more class of his. Bonus, he boosts borderline grades if your attendance is good.

His lectures are so boring, especially his 2.5 hour ones at night. He lectures the whole time and writes notes on the bored, he also goes off some slides of the PowerPoints. It is your responsibility to read the book, if you don't, you wont pass his exams. Although, he does give extra credit on exams for showing up to class and doing homework.

Do not take his class He post everything super late and then expects students to do everything on time! Our final is tomorrow andd he just posted our objection sheets. He reads off of the PowerPoint for over a hour and it doesnt help at all. Go to class if you do have him and read the textbook it will help a lot

Explains the topics very clearly so it is easy to keep up. Exams are also pretty clear and focus on a comprehensive understanding of the topic. Homework is practically a guaranteed way to upgrade your grade. However, I didn't like having mandatory online tasks that made me use a new - rather expensive - textbook to get a needed code.

Behr is a helpful professor, but his lectures are extremely boring. Especially if you take the 2 1/2 hour evening class I did. The grading is very straightforward: 25% for each test (there are 3 tests) and 25% for homework. The homework is an easy 100, it's designed to raise your grade. Tests aren't that bad, just make sure you study.

He is very boring and lectures the whole class. If any notes are on the bored they are all abriviated which makes taking notes hard. His only suggestion is to use learn smart to do well on tests. After two absences he takes 5 points off your grade. The homework is easy and can be done an unlimited amount of times and is a test score.

Worst teacher ever ! He cant teach for his life. He literally talks all class, his powerpoints have absolutely no valuable information. You get 3 tests & homework. You bomb one test and youre basically done. Hated this class !

Professor Behr is very laid back and teaches a course that we all cringe at. He takes difficult topics and breaks down the how and why. You must read the textbook to pass his exams. Don't rely on just your notes. Opportunity is abundant for extra credit, but you must be in class to receive it. Homework is easy.

The professors most popular phrases and words are... When all the dust settles. If you will.. Rascal.. GET outta here.. The only fly in the ointment.. And the list goes on.. OVERALL, he is a nice professor and will help you on assignments.. The exams are 4-5 questions in upper level courses but it will take you the whole hour to complete.

He is a nice guy and will answer you questions you have. I made the mistake of not looking in my book for the first half of the class and once I got to the tests had no idea what I was doing. The class is extremely boring but he'll pass you if you go to class so it's highly suggested you go and sign in. Overall, boring class.

Average Professor. Destructive attendance policy; if you're not a morning person dont take this class in the morning. Poorly worded questions on tests. Online homework; waste of money and time. I would not recommend this professor. I'm an A/B student who ended up with a D in this class.

Professor Behr is probably the best Econ Prof I've had in my college career. If you need help don't be afraid to ask, he's really helpful and flexible. Hands out really easy homework that will appear on future tests. Def worth taking if you have the chance.
