Comment:

Huston replaced Professor Mital midway through our economics class. The homework load changed, the teaching style changed, but he did a good job. He did teach primarily from Power Point slides, but they included A LOT of examples, so it was very useful to attend class and the examples were helpful in understanding the lesson.

I have had Houston for courses including Graphic Fundamentals, Engineering Statistical Methods, Manufacturing Processes I, and now- to my extreme misfortune -Manufacturing Processes II. He is by far the most boring professor I have ever had....BORING. I never went to lectures, just learned from the book. Good luck. :'<

i actaully wanted to kill myself during his lectures.no joke, its that boring. every day during his lecture,time would somhow slow down.How can one man be so boring?i went to every class,and i feel like i learned almost nothing because its near impossible to pay attention.everyone brought their lap top and played games,i only brought my notebook...

This guy is a dick! He acts as if he knows everything in the world. He does like to know everybody in his class which is just outright annoying. The way he talks is annoying enough, stressing random words and walking around as if the classroom is his throne. He needs to step down, enter the real world, and realize he's not on top of the world.

Seems like an easy teacher, but very boring. The class doesn't teach anything, really -- it would be better if it was an AutoCad-based class. Tests are hard unless you memorize all the notes. Drawings are hard unless you draw exactly what he's looking for. Lots of people get the shaft on his grading, so watch out. Not a good teacher.

Can't say that I really learned much in his class, but it was pretty easy. I got an A, but I definitely think that quite a few people got the shaft on a few of the grades. My best advice is to simply memorize the notes online and get someone to help you with the labs.

Definitely pay attention because he will make it a point to call on everyone! Seems okay at first, easy to understand, but really boring. If you try to contact him outside of class, doesn't respond. If you talk to him one on one, seems really stuck up. Labs aren't bad though. Tests are so-so.
