Potter is a wonderful person, but her class teaching method is not the best. She has a complicated past, which is understandable, but she repeats information 3-4 times, and her grading isn't quite clear. The tests are relatively easy, but she does take attendance daily. Not a difficult class, but I did spend a good time on Twitter during lectures.

Great professor! I felt like a lot of people did not take her seriously though, which kind of upset me. She has great stories and is very passionate about all of her students and what she teaches.

If you show up to lectures, take notes, and study you will do fine in this class. Beware: you should probably choose a seat in the front as she talks very quietly and it is hard to hear her from anywhere but the first two rows.

very good professor, she genuinely cares about her students and wants them to be happy and learn well. make sure that you take the tests seriously, as thats a majority of your grade. no textbook is needed for this class. although attendance is not required I still suggest going as much as possible.

Tysha is the best professor I've had at PSU. She's caring and genuine. She understands that life happens. Her class is uplifting and challenges you to ditch the negative norm. Tysha is a gem to say the least. She is so down to earth and truly wants to see each student succeed. Don't take advantage of her, that reflects badly on your character.

Very nice professor. For Psychology she uses notes and no textbook is required to buy. She speaks softly so if you can, go towards the front of class to hear her better. The tests do cover a lot of information, but if you look over and fill out her review sheet, you'll do fine.

Best professor on campus. I literally never missed class because how much I enjoyed it. Her lectures and study guides are everything thats on the test. She has a great attitude and is always willing to help and answer your questions. She has great stories from personal experience. She makes it fun.

If you go to Pitt and don't have Mrs. Potter you are missing out. I was genuinely excited to go to her class as she was always smiling and taught us very interesting information. Great teacher and person! Definitely take Psychology with her!

Best teacher at Pitt. Positive Psych was really easy. No tests and only a few easy assignments, BUT GO TO CLASS OR YOU WILL NOT PASS. The attendance points are literally what make your grade.
