This class was really boring and I didnt learn much. Most of the tests are just memorizing slides. Not very engaging. More like a high school class. He laughed at every joke he made and got upset when no one else laughed. Also insensitive towards people with mental illnesses and the like which is concerning being that hes a psy teacher.

I would NOT take this class with Dr. collier. His lectures are WAYYY to long, he tries to be funny but he isnt and his test are SUPER hard. He doesnt teach that very well and its really hard to study for his test. Do NOT take this class. RUN!!

I loved his classes. I've taken 3 with him so far, but the last class I took was Cognitive Psych. He makes you work for your grade. If you aren't willing to spend the time to read the chapters, then yes you will get a bad grade. Cognitive Psychology is basically all memorization. I enjoyed the class, and learned a lot.

He is so annoying. His power points are 70 slides long and will get through 7-8 a class period. He laughs after everything and talks about irrelevant stuff while go through the power point. If you email him the homework instead of turning in a hard copy and you email it in the wrong format he will fail it. Would not recommend taking him!

i wouldn't take him! his powerpoints are excessively long! and he gets through like 6-10 per class due to his off topic jokes and studies! he talks at the class the WHOLE time reads from powerpoint and doesnt give you time to take notes from the powerpoint and keeps you the whole time. i would recommend you take someone else

I had Dr. Collier this past semester and I felt very uncomfortable by some of the comments he would make. He also tends to give many lectures based on a topic irrelevant to what we are tested on. Would not recommend.

This is my third time taking his classes. I have passed each one with B's. All you have to do is pay attention during note taking. He reiterates the sections that need to be studied several times during conversation. He is very helpful. I would definitely take the classes offered by him. He is intelligent and funny!

Great professor. Test are challenging, but he does provide powerpoints. Tip: Study the powerpoints AND read the textbook. Pay attention to his lecture, because he will throw stuff he spoke about. Enjoyed his class and his jokes. Did I say he was a great professor? Well he is.

His classes are easy to pass as long as you study somewhat frequently. He will make you apply concepts on tests you can't just memorize material, you have to actually learn it. Interesting personality.
