WORST CLASS AT UD. Quiz every Monday and Friday, group work every day. If you miss class you won't pass. Get on Preceptor Christinas good side from the start since she is the one who basically runs the show, not Banjo. Horrible, mean, brutal teachers who try and make their students miserable.

This is the worst class. it is full of most elementary ed majors (required to take it) and the TAs and professors everyone to be physics experts and math experts and do not explain anything well. Quizzes and exams have nothing to do with what we learn in class. AWFUL

Do not take this course, whether you like physics or not. There are two quizzes a week, and the class average on those are typically 45%, and he doesn't anything. If you are sick (or in the hospital), you do not get excused from labs, and receive a zero. There are about 10 assignments per week. Homework is also graded for correction.

terrible class. i hate his voice. the class is so unnecessarily hard. he thinks hes so funny and hes not at all. its embarassing. also hes not even a good teacher. he leaves half the class for PBL where you teach yourself. his tests are impossible. overall do not take him if you dont have to

Good professor, terrible class. Banjo does in class notes and examples, then assigns homework from the textbook which is entirely different. You have in-class group work that you inevitably split up just to finish on time. There's something due every day and good luck on those exams. The TAs do all the grading/labs. Good professor, awful class.

Banjo is a cool guy, but I honestly believe that this class is the worst class offered at this university. There is a team of people running this class that are never on the same page, PBLs are the main source of "learning" but that does not work at all and the class is all group work too which is awful. Not a super hard class but VERY tedious.

Banjo is hilarious and so nice, but I honestly didn't learn anything in this class. The idea was that we were supposed to learn through the group work but that was total BS. Also, there is a quiz every Wednesday and Friday which was awful. The labs are very confusing and there is sooo much homework, and theres something due every Saturday night.

It's only been two weeks into class but I really do like Professor Oriade. He is a cool guy with a sense of humor (always good at 8am). However, I feel as though he doesn't run his class. The TAs grade almost everything and we have an assistant teacher who is more of a professor than him.

He is VERY interested in the subject and wants you to be just as excited about it. His lectures are a little annoying because he speeds through them and doesn't spend much time on the topics but expects you to read the textbook and know the chapter.

Banjo is hilarious and it's clear that he's passionate not only about physics, but also making the class and material engaging for the students. He's so nice and he tries to help as much as he can. He goes too quickly during lecture notes, so check online for the slides or use the textbook. Lots of assignments but they help keep grades up.

Awesome guy, his lectures are actually pretty fun, even if it is Physics. Tells funny stories that he somehow relates to the material. Laughs a lot, good teacher.
