This is the only class that is worth your money at the UA. Adrian wants students to learn, and to think critically. His course is blatantly honest and he is the best lecturer I've ever heard. You will be captivated by the course material. The exams are straight forward and require you to think.

class is interesting, but the teacher is unprofessional, rude, bitter, and anti-american. he spent most of the time blabbering about his own political views. He is unwilling to help students and extremly mean. He frequently uses the f-word and tells kids who use their phones or computers that he is going to"f-ing throw that f-ing thing at the wall"

I've got to say that he's one of the best lecturers at the U of A. Go to class, write your exams with heavy influence from the rubric, and if you're a mediocre writer, have someone look over your essays.

This class is exactly what I would expect a Bill Ayers class to be like. If you can actually think for yourself you will not feel welcome here. If you manage to keep your opinions to yourself and tell Esparza what he wants to hear, you should do fine. Although don't expect to learn about anything except how much contempt he has for this country.

Sometimes it was hard to understand what he wanted on an assignment, but he's really just going for independent thought. Go to office hours if you need to, it's the best class I've ever taken! Class discussions were great. TAKE IT.

Dr. Esparza is a great teacher with a boatload of guts. He may be abrasive and in your face - but he's also an extremely intelligent, open minded and considerate teacher. The class covers controversial subject matter - prepare to be shocked. Very liberally minded, radical in fact. You are warned.

This was one of the best classes i know i'm EVER going to take. Not only was Esparza's TA (Ryan) incredibly HOT but the class was so kick-back'n'relax kinda thing. He has no major tests, just 1 page papers once in a while and also a take home midterm.. highly recommend him!
