Hilarious! Makes Core bearable and his papers are pretty easy to write. Jokes around with everyone and you get bubble gum on Fridays! Definitely recommended for Core!

He tends to be somewhat patronizing with his "munchkin" nickname for students, but is very fun. In a social studies core class he was a bit too enamored of libertarian principles to the exclusion of other political beliefs. Class was engaging but not terribly hard, especially since he wasn't usually worried about skipping reading assignments.

Hetherington is the best teacher I've ever had. He relates the material to the typical college student so it's easier to understand. He is the reason why I decided to become an Econ major. He makes Econ make sense. Tough class but highly recommended.
