Dr. Styles is a problem. He knows the material but he is not good at passing that information on to you. Expect to read the book before you get to class, he will then go over 1-2 problems in class and then be tested on that. He does not explain the material, has no interest in being a teacher. You will learn it all on your own. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Never had a College professor talk about class performance and expectations as much as Dr Styles. Expect lots of pump -up motivation speeches. Listen to them or you'll end up droping the class.

It was a difficult class but he's a great teacher. For the first time since I've come to the college I feel like I'm learning something i'll actually use in real life. He's very nice if you put in the effort and get help if you need it.

He makes you feel like the dumbest person alive. He will kill your self confidence. If you take this class you might as well quit anything else going on in your life because you will never have time. The work load is unbearable.

Extremely hard, but fair. As long as you complete the mountain of homework he assigns you don't even have to study. He's not interesting, he doesn't have a good sense of humor, and if you sit in the fron row you think mostly of getting him a nosehair trimmer. Put your nose to the wheel and talk to him when you need help and your fine.

WORST PROF I HAVE EVER HAD!!!! i studied for this class forever, and still did horribly. styles is just outright mean. basically calls you stupid and lazy to your face. tests are impossible. more homework than i have ever done before in my life. worst experience i have ever had at college. oh and he only has one shirt, and austinpowers teeth. yikes

One of the worst teachers I've ever had. Not very clear, tons of homework, and an arrogant and abrasive attitude towards students and questions. Very difficult to get help from outside of class. Tests are quite difficult. Lectures basically just go over the homework questions. If you want to teach yourself...take Styles. Otherwise,find another prof

Very strict and assigns way to much work. Insists each accounting exercise be on a seperate sheet of paper. Kind of treats you like your in middle school. Kind of funny and the class isn't to bad but the tests are impossible and work is overwhelming at times especially if you do more than just go to class.

worst prof in the world!!! covers the fact that he can not teach by making you do TONS of homework. could teach the info to myself from all of the hmwk, classes were/are pointless. lectures suck, takes up a whole period on lecturing about why we should do the hmwk, when we have all done it!!! try to find another acc't prof, cause he is awful

Run for the friggin' hills. This one loves to give homework, three chapters into the book and I've got a stack of paper 3/4 of an inch thick. I have only met one student who had him that actually said they passed the course: most said they failed or dropped and a few just left it at "glad to be rid of him" His tests aren't too bad, but don't sit on the front row -- he likes to stand right on top of the first student (I spent the entire first class debating buying him a nose hair trimmer.
