Great Professor, very thorough on subjects, which is good and bad considering the amount of studying you have to do for tests. I was worried to take her due to her review but she actually is a great instructor and you will leave the course with new knowledge of the subject. Her tests are tricky though, so make sure to put time in to study!

I came into class thinking that I would barely pass after reading her reviews. Half the class dropped after the second test. Overall, she is a great professor and knows her subject. You need to be serious about studying and putting in effort if you are taking her classes.

Took this professor twice, and still came out with a C. She will say she's not trying to trick you, but if you don't know the material inside and out on test day, her TQ wording will really throw you off. I always suggest using a laptop to copy her notes for effective studying. No curves &no study guides, just you and your 80 pg notes :), STUDY!!!!

Interesting lectures. Brutal tests & wording. No matter how much I studied, never made anything higher than B- & I'm an A student. Strict on phones & doesn't like people walking in front of her during lecture. She audio records her lectures for BB. Final is 100 ?s, which come from all 3 exams. Go see tests in office hours & remember ?s for final.

I took her for Tropical Marine Biology for study abroad in Belize. She's an extremely tough grader and gives an unnecessary workload like the documentary, which takes time away from completing a quality journal. Basically, you'll not catch a break when you're abroad. She's intelligent, and she expects you to know everything as much as she does.

Amazing professor. This is A&P so you have to study. Most of her tests are from the notes, but I did read the textbook here and there if I didn't understand something. She's available outside of class. She's also funny and caring, but don't walk in front of her when she's lecturing. Don't slack and keep up. 2nd exam might bite you.

Toom her For A&P 1&2 she is a great prof. she is very detailed and makes it easy. she gives outlines of the lecture so no book needed. it is pretty easy to pass if you read the notes & study prior to the exam. i lovr her wish she was a option for micro and chem

She is a good professor in matters of material covered, but those tests are crazy, way too much! I made a C in the class because I made a 62 on one exam and a B on all the others. Because there are only 4 its like you screw one up you don't have a lot of room for error. There are 6 quizzes, but they all together only account for 60 total points.

She is an awful professor. She is a very boring lecturer and she doesn't explain anything even if you ask. She blames the students if her class fails her tests. She isn't willing to help. Make sure you're on time to her class or she will yell at you.

She is a VERY good and a knowledgeable professor. She is pretty difficult by making the test and pop quizzes where you have to think in depth about the subject but I am SO glad that she pushed that upon us because I feel like I have learned a whole lot more by the end of the semester. Lectures are interesting too!

She is AWESOME! I thoroughly enjoyed her lectures and looked forward to her class. I will most definitely take her for every other class she teaches, (I'm a biology major.) You MUST study, but that is to be expected. She will explain anything you don't understand. Best professor I've had yet! Her tests come straight from the notes. I got an A (:

She is a great professor and breaks the material down to where you can understand it fully. However, I would suggest that you buy the book (though optional) and record her in class. Her tests come mostly from the book but her wording is the way she explains it exact. In all, I would recommend her because her class is passable.

Dr. Christensen is an outstanding A&PII professor because she explains the difficult concepts in A&PII clearly and understandably. I highly recommend her! (Yes, you will need to study and read the chapters, but if you do not understand a concept in the chapter, Dr. Christensen explains it in a way where you can understand the concept)

Cell biology is an easily understood subject, it is a lot of information to cover. We only had 3 tests this semester including the final and I struggled to get through all the work. A lot of people are struggling in this class, Molecular Biology is easier, but if you have to take this class, pay attention to what she is saying about everything.

Very Knowledgable. A&P isn't any easy course period so, she does clarify, & correlate lesson to everyday life exmpls. Txtbk not mandatory.Exams are from lecture. Attendance not mandatory but to pass you need to be there even though the notes are online she elaborates more in class. & expect you to have retained knowledge from A &P 1. YOU MUST STUDY

I love Dr. C! She is pretty much my absolute favorite biology professor at Lamar. She knows her stuff, wants you to learn, and is super nice and helpful! Tests can definitely be rough if you don't know your stuff so just keep up and you should be okay! Take Dr. C if you WANT to learn and not just get coast through in life! :) Highly recommend her!!
