Rubenfeld was great. If you are willing to attend class and pay attention, you will have no trouble passing and doing well. Although he may say that a lot of the reading is required, I only read part of the material and still managed to get mostly A's on his "pop-quizzes". If you have the time read the books, it will help your participation grade.

Seemed kind of scary at first but ended up being a really great guy. He really wants all of his students to succeed and is willing to help however he can. Papers are short, super easy, and graded leniently. Readings are a little boring but it's worth it.

He is kind of awkward and makes little jokes in class that are not funny. Not a very personal guy but he grades pretty easy on papers which there aren't a lot of! But the midterm and final are very hard and a lot of writing. Good thing each paper, the midterm and final all had the same weight towards grading.

I took 117 during fall and 118 during Summer. Summer was very easy with no papers or mid-term. Very good. During the fall/spring on the other hand is much more material, very hard paper grader. Midterm and final are very long with continuous writing. Only thing i regret is his Writing assignments cuz I suck at writing
