He is a great professor. If you don't put any effort in then you won't do good. He is very inteligent and knows his material. His only downfall is that he doesn't really use blackboard and doesn't keep you updated on your grades. If you read the books and take notes you will do great in the class. Hes not a hard grader by any means. Great guy!

He's very cryptic and unclear about what he expects. He forgets assignments so some of the work you do will be for nothing. You'll get back probably 1 or 2 grades the entire semester, the rest is a mystery until final grades are posted. Also, the books he assigns are expensive. Granted, you do use them. Save money and buy audiobooks or used copies

This is by far the most unorganized professor on planet earth. I tried my absolute best to be patient with this guy. The syllabus he gives you is USELESS, Only tells you about quizzes, tests, and exams the class before it is assigned. But don't worry, you'll get your grades, only when your final grade for the class is posted

He's super unclear about where your grade comes from. He doesn't use blackboards grading system, it's impossible to know where you stand. He often screams into the class "Hello! are you in there!" He wants class tons of class participation.

It's difficult to express how terrible a professor he is. He seems very knowledgable about his subject matter, but even at the graduate level he would give us assignments that he never graded or handed back, was very unclear with directions, and wouldn't respond to emails for days. Avoid if possible.

This guy is pretty hard to bear. His teaching style and class is awkward at best and it seems like he has no idea what he's doing. If you think you can muscle through, don't bother. If you're stuck with him, get ready to do tons of pointless work that won't be graded fairly, and suffer through nonstop nonsense.

Hello? Hellllloo? Always hassling us for answers. You can barely understand a thing he says and his essay prompts are super unclear and all over the place, not to mention it takes forever for him to grade them.

Required way to much reading.... tests were near impossible to complete or even pass, and he expects a journal each week which is 5 pages in length a piece. AVOID THIS CLASS AT ALL COSTS!

This professor is one of the worst by far. I would never recommend his class to anyone in fact he is the worst professor of all time for me. He expects you to read over one thousand pages do journal entries and expect papers and tests. His tests are insanely hard and his grading is hard. I expect maybe a C in his class. DO NOT TAKE! Its the worst.

HELLO? HELLO! HELLO? Chola's classes are always full of great stories which can get very philosophical. If you don't like to read (or think you can get though this class without reading) don't even try. You will end up reading regardless, or fail. Assignment due dates were bartered, and he through in some mystery assignments which never got a grade

He's a kind person, but his accent and knowledge of the English language isn't quite as sharp you would like. You can understand him, but clarity and correctly used words are common. His assignments aren't too bad (since their are none), except for journals which can be a good 5 pages long! If you have to take him, try to pay attention and read.

Pretty good, kind-hearted professor with an interesting selection of reading material for an Honors Lit. class. Not too difficult to understand, in spite of his accent. Assignments could be really unclear. Would consider taking a class with him again.

Chisukna is literally the worst professor I have ever had. He asks questions then gives zero response time before hassling for an answer, tells you to follow the syllabus... but then says he reserves the right to change it all of the time and WILL change it all the time. Doesn't give rubrics for papers and takes forever to grade. Avoid.

Took his modern drama class, literally had to drag myself out of bed to the class- no desire to go. Hes boring and you can hardly understand what he's saying. I didn't read any of the plays (sparknoted) and got 80s on both tests. His papers (one 4pg one 8 pg) are tedious but relevant. I'd avoid this class (and probably him in general) at all costs.

I had this guy for Modern Drama. Theres no doubt that he knows what hes talking about but i found it very hard to understand him. i found this fairly frustrating class is also a joke because we wrote one paper and took two test pretty much taught myself

Nice guy, but slightly difficult to understand due to his accent. Understanding, and willing to answer questions. Class could be a bit boring, but maybe it only was because I took it at 2:00. Understanding, and more than willing to help students. Tests were somewhat difficult, but if you understand the reading, and participate, it's not bad.

The most useless class taught by the most useless teacher. Did not learn one thing in this class. Instructions are never clear and he randomly assigns things that aren't relevant or useless. Cannot understand his accent. Nice guy but not willing to help. His Grad Assist. does most of the work for him. DO NOT TAKE ANY CLASS WITH HIM. waste of time
