A boring man teaching interesting classes. He is passionate about the subject matter, but only seems to convey that outside of a lecture setting. Very helpful one on one.

Comment:

He's a good prof, he goes over the material in a clear way, though I often felt we could cover the material more concisely in terms of asides and spend more in depth time on the principles. He can be hard to hear at times, but he tries to keep it interesting with examples and student interventions. His exams are a double whammy out of nowhere.

Comment:

While very knowledgeable in his field, he is unable to impart that knowledge to students during his lectures. Further to his lack of clarity, he also speaks in a monotone voice (can you say deathly boring?) This course was one of independent learning for most enrolled students. The subject matter is interesting, so that partly makes up for it.
