Henne is very odd. We didn't have any tests...we just wrote many papers and everyone always got B's. We seldom saw an A on a paper. He also taught grammar which was very elementary.

Had Henne for English 15 - very basic class with papers due twice a month. Very easy to make a B on them. Mythology - read the book and you'll do great. Arthurian Legend - read the book and you'll do great as well. Henne has a cute personality, he is always smiling.

He's a nice guy and laugh at his own jokes all the time. Basically you'll get a b in his class no higher or lower and he butchers your paper evertime you hand it in. He likes everythng his way and no other way. Overall, it's an easy course. You don't do anything in class and just hand in papers when they are due.

Henne discusses the material for assigned readings very thoroughly...to the point where you don't even have to do the reading (although i wouldn't recommend that!) class can be slow. and a big project at the end of the semester along with 2 weeks of presentations...

I have never been so bored in my life, he laughs at himself over nothing and counts attendence. He grades the papers pretty easily but makes you do interviews of people and companies which not everyone has time for.

Reminds me completely of Kramer from Seinfeld. Boring? no crap, just how interesting is grammar? Nice guy and a great professor to start college with if you need to work on English skills. Definitely take him. Start your GPA off on a the right foot.
