Dr. Howells is my favorite English professor. She may be tough to some, but all she is looking for is competence so if you show up, take the daily quizzes (which are short answer, 1 question, and yes everyday), and TRY to learn something, she will help you through all of your papers! Would take her for every class if I could.

Dr. Howells is AWESOME! She's somewhat of a tough grader but only because she wants you to write the best paper you possibly can. She really helped me improve my writing skills and was ALWAYS available to go over my paper with me. She breaks down assignments to ensure that everyone understands them. I definitely recommend her!

Dr.Howells is awesome! I am not the best writer, but I got all A's on my papers. She is very helpful and loves her students, don't be afraid to go to her office. I learned so much about how to be a better writer. Take her, you wont be disapointed!
