His class almost always ends up being a lecture, but only because no one answers his questions. Despite being very political (duh), he's super moderate and always discusses the pros & cons of each side. He wants debates. His explanations make it weirdly easy to understand The Federalist Papers, especially if you at least try to read before class.

He has high expectations of his students and very little tolerance for poor performance. Most students don't realize that his high expectations are actually good for them. I learned A LOT in his classes, especially how to have a civilized debate. His classes may be a bit of a challenge, but it's worth it if you actually care about your education.

Brad is a wonderful professor who expects a lot out of his students. His speech sometimes leaves one scratching their heads, and his Socratic method of teaching sometimes intentionally makes students realize their own errors.

Terrible professor. Yes, he is arrogant. He thinks he is right. He does not care for anyone but himself. He is terrible at lectures and once and while I appreciate if he would get a way from that monotone voice of his. He has a weird smerk that makes you just want to smack the guy. He makes me sick and I think this school can do better.

My only problem is that he tends to talk way over a person's head.if your a poly sci major than he would be the best prof for you to take to take his class as a Gen ed was hard I think he forgot it was just a gen ed credit. He needs to understand that just because some of us had problems understanding him didn't mean that we were slackers.

Dr Best was an excellent prof! I was a student interested in learning and if you "didn't pack the gear" it was hard. He had no time for slackers, which he shouldn't of, because it wasn't fair to those of us who worked hard and committed to learning
