Dr. Reed is a man of knowledge of all things commercial music. I've had several classes with him ). In studio I it's basically just listening to him talk. Sort of like listening to your grandpa tell stories about before the war. He may look it, but he's actually not that old. You should see the faces he makes when he plays drumset or vibes

I enrolled in this class because I needed one more to be a full time student. BIG MISTAKE. If you have no knowledge of music business, DONT TAKE THIS CLASS. It says that there aren't any prerequisets, but there might as well be. Take MUC109 first becasue he doesn't slow down for the newcomers. Seems like a cool dude, but not as a teacher.

Great teacher I guess. The online Jazz history class was a joke. Answers could be googled. midterm and final were repeated questions from each chapter quiz. 3 easy writing assignments. If you know what your doing this is an easy A with minimal effort.
