Rooney made research and a mandatory class into something I looked forward to going to. There's lots of reading, assignments, presentations, and quizzes, but don't be scared off, he's really fair with them. The quizzes are light and even kinda fun. He uses humor everywhere! Great prof and always willing to help, in class or in office.

Bryan was a great prof, he did an amazing job leading the class. His class has a friendly environment and he welcomes all questions. He goes through each chapter thoroughly, and has weekly quizzes, two papers, plus presentations, BUT NO FINAL EXAM. Though Attendance is mandatory, he is a great prof, and the class is worth your time.

Great professor and an awesome class! I used to be terrified of oral presentations, but this inspired me to sign up for a Public Speaking course next semester and work on my presentation skills. There are group projects and presentations with two research projects and papers, but the class is fun and the hard work pays off!!

He knows the material expertly and communicates it all clearly in lecture. He assigns group projects but as long as you're with people who will meet up and do their share, it should be fine. Be prepared for some pretty honest feedback, though. He seems to care about student success, but he'll tangent into personal stories during lectures.

He is so awesome. He is super helpful and his tests are so easy. it is easy stuff but a lot of work, and Rooney goes on a lot of tangents and talks about random stuff. but overall nice guy

Dr. Rooney is a very intellectual man. He is always willing to help. Stats is difficult to learn but Rooney is always trying to help you understand. He's super funny and makes you want to learn even if you have no idea what's going on. I recommend Rooney to anyone taking stats!
