Very sweet guy, but does not explain the material well at all. Makes a lot of mistakes on the board - be sure to catch them. I got an A, but it was because I basically explained the material to myself. He does answer questions and does his best to help you. Takes most of the test questions from the textbook and/or class lessons.

Dont be intimidated, he's all talk. I got an A+ without showing up to class and only doing decently on the midterm. Do the essay instead of the final, he doesn't actually grade it harshly

Great professor, really nice and genuine guy. More than willing to help all students and explain concepts. Not difficult readings and a few very easy pop quizzes containing 4 questions based on the readings. Attendence isnt required but highly advised so that he can explain the concepts rather than you trying to figure it out. Easy grader too

Amazing professor. He really does know his stuff. He says uhhmmm after everything he says, but you trust me! after each class, you will leave with the feeling that you had gained a ton amount of knowledge. He has 2 test and some quizzes to boost your grade!

HE'S A "OK" PROFESSOR, REALLY HARD TO UNDERSTAND HIS INTELLECTUAL VOCABULARY THAT HE USES BUT IN TIME IT IS THE WAY HE ACTUALLY TALKS , HE SAYS "UMM" AFTER EVERY! SINGLE! SENTENCE!! OTHER THAN THAT , 2 ESSAY TESTS, OVER 6 QUIZZES WHICH IS BASED ON THE READING AND NOTES , COME TO CLASS AND READING IS A MUST!

great professor, extremely helpful and good at explaining the material.Just make sure to come to class, pay attention and do all of the readings.Only annoying thing is that he gives pop quizzes but if you read the material and pay attention, you should do fine.

A little hard to understand but you'll def get used to it fast- uses big words which is sometimes really confusing and its pretty hard to understand something when he pauses for 30 seconds between every 10 words but on the bright side, he gives you the questions which will be on the test before the test! 2 tests and a final-not so bad. got an A+ :)

can't rlly understand bc he has a thick accent. Attending class is not mandatory but if you do, take notes. He gives reading every night but do not have to read or buy text book at all.Readings are online. I got an A. All you have to do is memorize 8 essays for the midterm and final and he'll test you on 4 of them. u can learn material on ur own.

The book he makes you read is hard to follow. He knows his stuff but has a really hard time expressing it in a clear way for an intro to phil class. He should be teaching a more advanced phil class where people are interested and have experience in reading philosophical texts. Would not recommend him

The textbook he chose is hard to follow. His teaching isnt what is wrong, its the textbook. Nice guy, but the class is sooo boring. No hw, 3 tests, and an optional paper for extra credit. He's a cutie pie, but its BORINGGGG

Mr. Sergio is a great teacher. He shows great care & Interest for the students to understand his class. Very care free, and highly educated. Hi's lectures are kind of long, but if you study the short lecture assigment you will be fine. I am glad I took this class with him.

Took modern logic with him. Honestly a nice guy but he did not make the class easy. Had a tendency to say the test would be in one format then change his mind without telling us. Also tended to make mistakes on the board during his lessons. Has high expectations of students abilities. He makes it the kind of class you have to take seriously.

I'm going to tell you the honest truth. You read a bunch of short stories from the book Morality and Moral Conversations, which I never bought. Attendance isn't mandatory and all you have is one midterm and one final. BOTH TAKE HOME!!! google the questions and get the answers from the internet. I got an A.

Nice guy but a little lazy. He knows his subject matter and is willing to help students and answer any questions. Very easy class all you need to do is take real good notes. He comes in late and doesn't even acknowledge the fact.. which I find pretty funny.

He is alright. His spelling on the blackboard is horrible. His pronouncing of words are also unclear. Nevertheless, he knows what he is talking about, it is just that he can make the lesson somewhat boring. It would be wise if he picks up the tempo in class and make it more interesting by using relative analogies that everyone can identify with.
