She is an absolutely awesome professor. Would def take her again! She explained things multiple times, had a review day, and would give out some answers during review day. She made the material interesting with her own stories.

Comment:

It is easy to tell Professor Miller has a passion for what she teaches. She uses humor very effectively in her lectures to both make the class attentive and share this passion for the material being taught. However, make sure to read your textbook. Though she's very upfront on what will be on the test, readings are the bulk.

This class is an Easy A and it does not take much work. The assignments are clearly outlined and the test mainly come from the book. She uploads slideshows to go with book reading, but most of the questions on the test aren't related to the slides.

This class is the easiest class I have even taken in my life and you wont learn much. Its an easy A ... that is if you can take tests during ridiculous times and adhere to her horrible policies. She opened the tests from noon on Fridays until midnight on Saturdays, making it impossible to take if you work.. or have a life.

Very lecture heavy class, and the lectures can be very very boring. She posts all of the lecture materials on D2L and attendance is not mandatory. Assignments included 5 Map quizzes, 2 video assignments and 4 D2L exams. Honestly, I didn't go to lecture very often and did just fine.

Good teacher. Lectures were kind of boring sometimes but not a hard subject at all. Easy A if you show up, but attendance isn't mandatory but recommend! She's very funny and lenient.

No assignments, only map quizzes, text quizzes (which are all online) and 4 in class exams. 2 attempts on map quizzes make it less stressful. You get 2 pieces of paper front and back for the in class exams!! can fit all material on these.. makes for an easy test.. if you attend class she tells you whats on the exam and whats not. LOVES new england

Dr. Miller is great! Hilarious, caring, and flexible. Textbook quizzes, map quizes, and paper exams make up your grade. Super easy if you study. She also lets you have a cheat sheet on exams. She doesn't sometimes take a long time to grade (gave us E.C. though). And lectures are dry. But she is super passionate about geography which keeps it lively

Love Cindy's classes! She goes over everything on her powerpoints that she wants you to know and for 340 gave a cheat sheet on every exam. You'll have to find out for yourself, but I can say she is very funny.

While Cindy is an amazing person and a great professor, her lectures are terrible. If you take American Geography, you will spend half the semester just in New England. She digresses way too much and it's hard to pick out what's important from her 100+ slide presentations.

She's fantastic! Don't underestimate her tests though. You have to study for them. She's hilarious during class, and explains things very well. I would take a class with her any day! Always willing to help when questions are asked and is very kind!

I've taken a few classes with Dr. Miller - honestly the best professor I've ever had. She hilarious, informative, very knowledgeable and down to Earth. If you show up and pay attention you'll do just fine. I'd take another class with her any day.

I have never seen class time use so poorly. I could have covered the class material in half the time she did. If you do go to class its a an easy A. Which is the only reason I took the class. She also always feels the need to call out "sleepers" and people how arent giving her their full attention.

This class was a piece of cake. Her tests are open book and she makes the powerpoint notes available online. Print them off and highlight what she says is important and you will do fine. She also gives you test questions and answers so go to class, at least the week before a test.
